So, I finished Necrosha and I liked all of the stories (X-Force, New Mutants, X-Men: Legacy), but I felt like each one suffered from an anti-climactic ending. Honestly, I think the best Necrosha story was the Deadpool backup story from the X-Force Annual. Oh, well. On to Second Coming!!

I also just read the American Son storyarc from Amazing Spider-Man by Joe Kelly. I thought it was really good, but I didn't think it was Kelly's best work. Ah well. Plenty more stories to be had.

So I read Ultimate Comics Avengers and it was decent. I was greatly looking forward to this book because I love Ultimates and I love Mark Millar when he's writing Ultimates, but Ultimates this isn't. Its good story but it lack the epic, almost movie feeling of the Ultimates. And I can't help but feel like Millar decided to make everyone in the book a douche just 'cause. I talked with TPR and we decided Millar just hasn't gotten the Kick-Ass out of his system lol. I've heard the subsequent Ultimate Avengers stories haven't been that great, so a part of me is wondering if I'd like to continue collecting. And don't even get me started on Jeph Loeb writing New Ultimates. I hate to say it, but Ultimate Marvel has just been run to the ground and it does sadden me. I've yet to check out Ultimate Spider-Man, but apparently its terrific, so maybe that'll be the saving grace of the Ultimate line.

The Ultimate Thor comic that's gonna be coming out in the future is going to be amazing. I'd bet on it if I could afford to, lol. Jonathan Hickman does no wrong.

H'oh yeah I completely forgot about that! I'll have to check and see how those Ultimate Enemy books are as well.

I read the first book of Spider-Man Noir today in preparation for Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and it was excellent. I totally need to buy the Spider-Man Noir books now.

Not just Spider-Man Noir! Luke Cage Noir, X-Men Noir, and Wolverine Noir were all pretty awesome. Haven't read Iron Man Noir yet.
Because I'll be pulverizing you sometime over the weekend.

And the cleaning lady... cleans up... dust. She dusts. And she has weekends off, so... Monday. Right?

I started reading X-Men: Second Coming last night. It was coming out in issues when I was still an intern at Marvel, so I haven't read it yet, but everybody at Marvel was saying that it's the greatest X-Men story ever told, claiming that Messiah Complex is the second greatest X-Men story ever told. Now, at the time of writing, I think that Messiah Complex is the greatest X-Men story ever told, so Second Coming has its work cut out for it.

I also bought X-Men: Second Coming; Revelations today for me to read once I finish the main story of Second Coming. I got it for under $11, saving a grand total of $15 flat. Booyah.

I finished Second Coming earlier. It was okay. It wasn't as good as Messiah Complex, though.
    Spoiler:

I'm reading Second Coming; Revelations now. The first two issues of the book were painful. X-Men: Hope was awful, and kind of didn't make sense given Hope's age in it and the fact that she was with Cable, when in actuality, they were seperated for those years due to the events of Messiah War. X-Men: Blind Science wasn't any better. Up next is X-Men: Hellbound, which I think will at least be interesting, and it will all end with X-Factor's Second Coming arc, which I have high hopes for, as X-Factor is one of (if not the) highest rated X-Men books out currently.

So I finished Second Coming; Revelations, I actually really liked Hellbound. It was really a lot like New X-Men (which makes sense, seeing as it starred Pixie and Anole and was written by Chris Yost). X-Factor was okay, but I really didn't know what was going on. Maybe if I had been following the series, I'd have liked it better.

I recently read Captain America Reborn and I really enjoyed it! Felt like a very satisfying conclusion for the the whole Steve-being-gone era. The post Reborn Cap is supposed to be fantastic so I can't wait til that comes out in TPB
