    ----

    So I finally have my first demo reel thanks to the lovely Miss Haushinka (She is absolutely amazing! *_*~<3)

    I tried to pick out a wide range of voices and emotions (and spent a lot time listening to a bunch of others for ideas), so please give it a listen, and let me know what you think. Comments, critiques, etc. all welcome and appreciated. Aaand, enjoy, I guess~ ^^;;

    You're definitely more comfortable in your lower ranges. I enjoyed your battle voice in the beginning in particular, and your "commenting on the single dad" voice (for lack of a character name). I'd love to see you in the "female leader" role with the stronger, more sultry voice than the standard, "cutesy" female roles you see out there. I think you'd really shine at it.

    There's my two cents.

    mixing, of course, was excellent. Good length and I have to say overall you covered a good range of voices. That being said, your higher more 'cutesy' voices sounded unnatural to me. It may just be because your natural voice is deeper but I love that you tried anyway to include more range!

    Nice battle grunts but I would have liked more hatred and disgust in your "useless monsters" line. Keep it up, I really like your voice.

    Ooh, Sirius's demo...
    Here's some critique:
    You sound nice. One thing that really bothered me was the higher voices, namely, "AAAH BIG PROBLEM!" As well as, "Big MEANIE!" They sounded incredibly forced and fake, not due to the fact that the voice seemed to strained you, but more that trying to force out energy and emotions using those higher voices strained you. You have the range for those higher pitched character voices, but you need to work on being able to play them emotionally, and not just have the voice; particularly on the "Big problem!" line, I felt the acting ability shown in it to be so different, and lacking from your other lines, it really was what I remembered after just listening the first time, and it's not good to be remembered for the one not so great line in your demo. ;3
    One thing that bothered me a little bit too, was I didn't really hear many lower voices (as in, lower than your natural pitch), while it is good to really showcase your natural voice in your demo, an animation demo should also showcase a variety of characters, and all your medium pitched characters tended to sound very similar to me (except for a few of the male voices, especially the one at the end, which I LOVED. )
    Again, you used a lot of lines that were rather flat in delivary, and the ones that you chose to include that were emotional, ended up being played rather badly, because the voices you were doing them in, were not voices you were extremely comfortable in. Try adding in the lines in your natural voice (or any voice you're not straining to get) for some of the energetic and emotional lines. I'd like to hear more energy, and variety in this demo, both characterwise, and emotionwise.
    Along with the male voices, and your natural speaking voice lines, I really liked your action lines, like the, "Ha, ha, hya!" one...It sounded really nice. =3
    Overall, it sounds really nice, Sirius! (Siriusly! ...I couldn't resist...Sorry...=P) Great job, and keep it up~ =3

    Well, I'm probably just going to end up reiterating what everyone else said ._.

    You are definitely comfortable with doing lower voices. Your low-medium range is excellent. Your high ranges could use work, but I did like a few of them. It just sounded like you were straining a lot on the third voice. I thought you had great emotion in your lines, but I feel that some of them could have been improved on.

    Great reel Sirius =D I really liked listening to it :3
