Well, folks, scene 1 is done! I'd like to thank my incredibly awesome cast for all the work they did. Mixing took me a bit longer that I'd planned, and I'm still a bit unsure on my music selections from outside the game, but game music gets so monotonous after a while. I also ripped several sound effects from the game, which hopefully don't sound too bad since it was my first real attempt at trying something like that.

oh, the memories~^^ I loved playing the Golden Sun Series, and you did a great job of capturing the mood and the atmosphere of the game. There were times when the music and SFX were overpowering the voices, but not that often The cast was fantastic, and delivered the characters reallly well. Merodi and Bninjah stuck out to me for being particularly fitting^^ Great stuff, Miss Kaito I look forward to more.

How the heck did you track down the BGM? You deserve a lot of kudos for finding that.

This brought a lot of smiles to my face as I remembered playing through the games a bazillion times.

Menardi was really memorable, possibly the best performance . . . Kraden's VA also deserves a lot of praise for making himself sound like a wise sage. I did kinda felt that Saturos was overacting a little bit . . . and Felix sounded muffled even when he took the mask off.

The rest of the acting was pretty good. Mippa got Jenna down well, BigTUnit1's Garet was pretty much spot-on, and I did like Requiem's Issac, for how little he actually did talk.

Overall, great mixing job too. The voices were in unison perfectly when they needed to, the music rarely overpowered the voices, and the sound effects were well-placed.

That was spell-binding! I loved every second of it. The cast was solid in their performances and the mixing is very well done! Excellent use of sound effects and music. I can't nail anything that needs to be improved on.

Isaac: Dusk-Requiem

• You had pretty good acting for Isaac so I can't complain on that aspect but I just wasn't feeling you as Isaac. It sounded a bit too much like BigTUnit1's voice for Garet, not that you two sound alike...but you two had the same voice type and it didn't blend well. I'd recommend heightening you're voice a bit, or softening it. You two are going to be in a lot of scenes together so it's important you two have different enough voices so it doesn't sound confusing.

Garet: BigTUnit1

• In all, I like your Garet, the only issue I had was the blending issue referred too in Isaac's critique. I'd perhaps recommend making him come off a little smart-alecky and gruffer.

Jenna: Mippa

• You are a perfect Jenna, I have no complaints...maybe a little more hot headed? But even then, if you didn't it wouldn't affect much.

Kraden: Risen-Chud

• You sound...well...like I pictured for Kraden and I think that's pretty stellar. Way to go dude.

Saturos: Legacyblade

• I really didn't like you as Saturos, I love your voice...it's an awesome lower tone. But I think the type of voice given to Saturos would be more effective as Minardi and vice versa. Because at the end of the day, it's Saturos calming Minardi's fits of anger...but I don't buy that Saturos is the calm one based on your voice.

Menardi: Merodi

• Menardi is a ticking time bomb, constantly becoming aggravated over things that don't go her way. I don't buy that from you, you sound so calm. You have a great voice for Menardi but I need to hear that hot-headedness from you.

Felix: RubedoKukai

• At first I thought the muffled tone to your mic was because Felix was wearing his mask but even after he took it off...you still sounded muffled. That's my only complaint you portrayed the character quite well.

Alex: bninjah

• I'm still on the fence, I liked it so far but I really wanna hear more!! <3

I loved listening to this. Everyone did a great job. Yeah, I guess I overacted Saturous. Everyone was calm when the wise one showed up, yet I was totally freaking out, XD I guess I misinterpreted the character at that point. I guess I just read him as being the "AHHH, I WILL EAT YOU, BOY!" type.

I could never keep strieght who was who. You guys sounded very similar a lot of the time. I liked both of your preformances, you did great!

Jenna: Mippa

Awesome as always. You sounded really good when you were crying.

Your monolouge about the elemental stars was SPECTACULAR! That was better than I could imagine anyone would do with an explanation about the world's mechanics. I couldn't see a single flaw, all your acting was really great.

Saturos: Legacyblade

I totally messed up the part when The Wise One starts showing up. Everyone was mostly calm, and I was totally freaking out, XD

Menardi: Merodi

I think I must have the opposite view of Saturous and Menardi's personality than Kei. I always thought of Menardi as the controlled one, and Saturous as the ticking bomb. You actuallly have a voice similar to the mental voice I've always had in my head. You did great, I loved your preformance!

Felix: RubedoKuka

Great job on Felix. You hit him dead on! I think when you were telling Jenna you were sorry, you sounded a little TOO emotionles, try adding a little more subtle hints of emotion, not much more than you have, just a little hint.

Alex: bninjah

I used to imagine Alex with a deep voice, but after hearing you voice him, I'm convinced he has a higher voice. Great job, can't wait to hear you in the next chapters!

=D i knew this would be excellent when i saw it in the audition process.

Mixing: i liked the music a lot! i've never played golden sun myself, but the music was very enchanting and set the scene. i think this is just on my computer, because this computer is weird and a little crappy, but the music was a bit overpowering and it was hard to hear what people were saying unless i really concentrated. i'm pretty sure this is my own problem since no one else seemed to experience the same (my dad needs to stop stealing the good computer xD)

the only sound effect i had a problem with was the masking getting "popped" off... it made me laugh except it was the start of a serious scene, so that's probably not a good idea.

i really like the youthful softness and sensitivity you gave her character. it wasn't the obvious and stereotypical "LOOK AT ME" teen. when jenna found out about felix, it was very believable, great emotions. nice job!

Kraden: Risen-Chud
wow, that was excellent! i definitely pictured an older, wise person when i heard your voice. i had to check back to the audition thread to make sure that your character was supposed to be older or not since everyone else were teens. you definitely brought your character to life.
