When I found out what Haruhi was actually singing I loved the song even more so you can imagine how overjoyed I was when I found sheet music for this! Please excuse any weird noises from the piano, this is actually my first time recording myself playing with my new laptop so I still need to learn all the right adjustments to smooth out the volume.

• This version was made in about 30 minutes with only time for two takes (melody and harmony)
• Lyrics are from the english dub with a verse I made up at the end
• Timing in some spots are off

• This time around I made sure the harmonies were timed correctly
• Tried out dynamics processing to reduce the "s" and "t" sounds

Please let me know what you think of the new version ^^ It still isn't perfect but I personally thing it's much better than the first one.

Aww, this is really sweet, nice work :3 You really captured the emotion of the song. I liked the extra verse, it fit well with the others.

As for constructive criticism, I noticed the timing of the harmony didn't quite match up in some spots with the melody, which is understandable since you could only do a couple of takes. Occasionally the vocals fell a little behind the music, too.

I need to figure out how to set up a different mic to record myself singing WHILE I play piano so that way there wouldn't be any issues XD

*o* WHOA. PWNS the HELL out of my version. I didn't know you played the piano! And sang so... AWESOMELY! This is a great rendition, Tomatocars! Besides going a bit flat and sharp in a few places, I think this was damn near perfect! And I'm loving the... somewhat improv verse. You sound like you'd make a great Kyon. And the harmonies... pure concentrated win.
