Introduction:Hi guys, this is Jefferz with my newest project. Some of you may have heard about it either from the help forum, but I'm planning to dub the gamecube game Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. As of right now, I have the first season scripted with most of the sound effects done and the base videos in hand. Hopefully I will get through all three seasons unless I get generally negative reviews.
Story:Set on the ficitonal continent Tellius, the story centers around Ike and his mercenary group. The company operates within the borders of Crimea, a nation of humans (referred to as "beorc") that shares its southern border with Gallia, a nation of beast laguz, or humanoids capable of transforming into animals. A few chapters into the game, a neighboring beorc nation, Daein, invades Crimea. Soon after, Ike comes across an unconscious woman that leads the company on an adventure to restore the destroyed Crimea.
Series Setup:If any of you have played a Fire Emblem game before, they are pretty long. I've divided the storyline into three "seasons." The first season is chapters one through nine. The second is ten through nineteen. The last is twenty through twenty eight and the epilogue. Between each season I will put the series on hiatus to work on the next season and to give the voice actors a break.
Important! Read before Auditioning!!!
1. Make sure you can commit to the project and turn in lines on time. This is a big one because some characters have a whole lot of lines. For example, Ike is the main character. In the early chapters he has around 30 lines each. Then in chapter 8 it jumps up to around 90. Be sure you can do all the lines mentioned in each character.
2. Stay with the project. About 85% of characters with names will reappear later in the series so make sure you don't quit.
3. Don't hold back and give it your all! Oh, and have fun
Other Things:
While most of the series is based off of spoken, there are battle scenes in there so make sure you can do multiple different noises such as fighting, dying, etc.
There are also three fully animated cut scenes that need voices. They require the voice actor to lip sync to the clip. In the first season, these characters are Ike, Greil, Mist and the Black Knight.
If you don't get the role you wanted, don't sweat. I will most likely cast you as an extra unless I get way too many auditions. Once an extra, I will sort them into different categories based on their voice type such as pirates, soldiers, town people, etc.
I will give out critiques, unless you don't want one. Please don't take it personal if a critique offends you, I'm only trying to make sure you understand what to improve on. One of my biggest pet peeves is when I get a critique from a producer that says it needs work, but doesn't specify or be specific.

-You may record lines in one file, but be sure that you can separate them in the actual series.
