Dear all,
I want to develop a Wiki for the VAA where we can store our articles, VA information, studio information and whatnot, and interconnecting them with one another.
"But TamTu...what would you want to put on a wiki?"
If you've used wikis before or have been on one, you'll find that it's really easy to add pages, or link to other pages with ease.
What I'm looking for are members that have knowledge of working on wiki-templates and the formatting of templates. So send me a PM if you're into Wiki-ing, or if you want to help out with moderating entries. Seeing as this can be a potentially huge project, feel free to apply for possible wiki-moderating as well. I know what I want out of the wiki, but I'm still learning a lot; we could learn together! You and me! Member and King Admin!
The wiki-software used is Mediawiki, which is easily one of the most widely-used wiki-engines online. I've played around with it a bit, but my lack of free time stops me from fully delving into it to put something tangible up for the VAA. And that's why I need
your help.
Eventual duties as a Wiki-moderator will entail transferring existing articles into the VAAWiki archive, checking and approving new entries, editing and fixing entries where necessary.
And you will be rewarded with cookies. Promise.
