PROJECT
"Spice & Wolf" tells the story of a Medieval world on the cusp of change: new farming methods and agricultural machinery have brought humans to a new level of prosperity, and allowed them to break away from their reliance on goddesses and deities to bless their harvests.
It is the story of Horo - a wolf deity who longs to return to her homeland after being forsaken by her village, and so she strikes a new partnership with a travelling spice merchant named Lawrence Craft. As they travel, Horo's wisdome helps increase Lawrence's profits, but at the same time, her true nature draws unwated attention from the church ...
I'd like to begin by dubbing the second episode, and so I'm currently looking for a leading lady to voice the role of the Wise Wolf Horo.

description: Horo may appear to be a 15-year old girl with wolf ears and tail, but she is in fact a shapeshifting spirit over 250 years old. Time hasn't left her worn or stern, though, and she has a very playful, mischevious streak, teasing the humans she meets as though they were little children, and flirting with Lawrence to get a rise out of him.
She is proud wolf who loves to list her accomplishments, and bask in the glory that is her beautiful, beautiful tail. Her understanding of human nature is so acute, she can detect any spoken lie. Unlike the profit-oriented, "time is money" merchant Lawrence, Horo is very easy-going, and delights in simple pleasures: combing her tail, enjoying human food, and the company of others. Her central motivation is to return to her homeland in the north, and to see her companions once again.
VOICE
Medium rage. An experienced young woman, as opposed to a squeaky and ditzy teenybopper.
You're a 200+ year old spirit - you've seen the wonders of the world, learned enough to fill libraries and you're absolutely confident in your abilities; convey that self-assuredness in your voice. You're very playful and teasing - you know how to push all the boy's buttons and how to irritate or fluster them.
Although you has some bursts of fan-girl excitability (i.e., around food), these are more exceptions rather than the rule. Favour attitude over cuteness.
