Hoooooray! I am a huge Fullmetal Alchemist fan so I was looking forward to this dub! LOL this episode makes me cry every time I watch it.

Edward: FullMetalRanger - The emotion was really, really good but I think the pitch could have been higher at some points. Overall, good job.

Alphonse: StateAlchemistLN - Wow, you sounded EXACTLY like Aaron Dismuke, it was nuts! You have such a sweet, likable voice and the acting was pretty good! Nice work! Yours was my favorite voice in this dub.

Roy: FullMetalRanger - Dang, I LOVE your Mustang! Your emotion was wonderful and your pitch was dead-on. My only critique were that your screams of pain seemed very muffled and I think you need to work a little on that but everything else was just wonderful. Your voice was also one of my favorites in this episode.

Pride: Ecafrusehtrednu - I think your pitch could have been a LITTLE deeper but the emotion was very good! You had that subtle sense of, well, pride that was obviously so perfect for the character. Nice job!

Sig Curtis: Mike28 - Great pitch! Good work.

Envy: MagicKaito - I love your voice for Envy - it fit the character very, very well. I also loved your evil laugh!

Wrath: StateAlchemistLN - Not a lot to go off of but great job all the same!

Hohenheim: DarkAstar - I like your pitch a lot! Your mic made everything sound a bit muffled but the emotion was very good.

Selim: ChibiRena Chan -SO much better than the original dub. ;_; Your emotion was great, especially when being choked. Very cute!

FrankArcher: LionFayt - Very cool! Nice job.

Guard1: LionFayt - Not a lot to go off of but nice work.

Guard2: (my sister) - I don't really think the voice was deep enough...

Pinako: Rikusgamer - I love the gravely sound of your voice, nice job!

Rose: Animegrl5819 - Very good, its hard to have emotion when your character doesn't have much of a voice but you pulled it off well.

Riza: Mochan - Your voice was very easy to listen to and the emotion was really good.

Shezikah: Rikusgamer - Great voice for Shezikah! Very easy to listen to with a subtle hint of nerdiness!

Izumi: QueenDuranie - Your voice is very smooth and great for Izumi - nice work!

Dante: Animegrl5819 - I think you had some mic issues which was a shame because your emotion was very good.

Karl Haushoffer: Doccy - Awesome accent! You did very well!

Winry: Winry - Your pitch could have been a taaad higher but the emotion was dead on! Nice job!

Mixing: I think some of the soundFXs were a little strange in some places (IE: the sounds inside the gate) but all the volume levels were relatively level so it was pretty good overall.

Woo! FMA, having ended about a year ago, may not be at the peak of its popularity, but it's still one of my favorite anime of all time.

Edward: There were moments when I could've sword I was hearing Vic's voice XD And there were other times when your interpretation differed significantly. I really liked your interpretation. A few lines felt a tad rushed, but I loved the emotion you brought to the role.

Mustang: When I first saw Ed & Roy were played by the same guy, I was a little skeptical. But you pulled off 29-year-old man and 16-year-old boy equally well. Great job!!

Izumi: Duranie! I thought I recognized that voice! Great job, as usual. <3
Your voice definitely has that maturity and sophistication combined with total kick-butt-ness that makes Izumi Izumi.

Al: I couldn't help but think your voice sounded a little girly at the beginning, especially on the more emotional lines, but toward the end I loved it. That last speech was great!

Envy: Your acting was quite good but your voice seemed a little high-pitched... and maybe... not "mean" enough? Listen to the Japanese VA and you'll know what I mean-- she has a sneering quality that I think worked really well. I prefer your interpretation to the English dubbed Envy; the official VA's voice just got on my nerves... >D;;; Your maniacal laugh was convincing, but I'd say it wouldn't hurt to make it even MORE maniacal! It's hard to go overboard with a character with Envy. Overall a very good job! :3

Hohenheim: Impressive! Your voice suited Hoho-papa very well ^-^ Just... I'm sorry, this bugged me way more than it should have, but "Freud," as in the psychologist, sounds like "froid" (rhymes with Lloyd) and not "fraud" (though some have claimed he is one) XD;;; That's really the only thing, I don't have much in the way of criticism. Excellent job!

Pride: Your acting was very good, but I thought your voice was too youthful-sounding. You had the severity down pat, though.

Sig Curtis: Nice, your voice suits the character very well.

Wrath: Not a lot to go on, but you sounded just fine in my opinion.

Selim: Great job! You sounded just like a young boy (not a girl!), the emotion in your voice was excellent, and your choking sounded so convincing I cringed while I was watching it.

FrankArcher: Nice, very sinister-sounding.

Guard1: Good job.

Guard2: I agree with the others-- I think this role kind of requires a male voice >D;;

Pinako: Good little old lady voice, and great acting!

Rose: I really liked your voice for Rose. It was soft and tender in spots where it needed to be and urgent in others. (But wait-- doesn't she scream "EDWAAARRD!!" when he falls over dead? o.O) Lovely job!

Riza: Not as deep as I would have expected, but I liked your interpretation. The emotion was great and the crying was honestly convincing.

Shezikah: Great voice for her, but wow that speech was peppy! 0-0*shrug* Good job nonetheless!

Dante: Yours was another actor whose voice I came to like more as the episode progressed. The emotion could have been more pronounced at the beginning, but by the end you nailed each line.

Karl Haushoffer: Your voice was great for this character! I wasn't so sure about the accent in your first couple of lines, but after that you sounded great!

Winry: Very cute voice for Winry, nicely done ^^

Edward: FullMetalRanger- Your acting was excellent, but I agree that I would have liked to hear his voice a bit higher. And something about his speech about equivalent exchange toward the end felt a bit off to me, but I can't explain it...

Alphonse: StateAlchemistLN- Holy cow, you do sound like Aaron Dismuke. Awesome! Yeah, you did a fantastic job with Al! There were a couple of times I thought he sounded a little girly, but on the whole I loved it.

Roy: FullMetalRanger- I really like your Mustang voice. I agree that the shouting seemed a little muffled or something which took away a bit, but really fantastic everywhere else.

Pride: Ecafrusehtrednu- I liked it, I think maybe a bit lower and more evil would have made it even better. Maybe some more energy behind it, too? That line after her choked Selim was fantastic.

Sig Curtis: Mike28- Not a huge part, but you did good from what I heard.

Envy: Magic Kaito- Woah, my mic was doing something funny... But yeah, I had way too much fun with Envy ^^ Not too sure on those lines I had right before Al got up, though.

Wrath: StateAlchemistLN- The one line sounded really good ^^;.

Hohenheim: DarkAstar- Yeah, something about the sound quality was a little odd, but I really liked it. You played Hohenheim very well.

Selim: ChibiRenaChan- That was far too adorable! Yeah, you definitely did better than the original dub.

Frank Archer: LionFayt- I almost wanted Archer to sound a bit more... insane. But the voice and the acting were both great!

Guard1: LionFayt- Not a big role role, but good work here, too.

Guard2: (my sister)- I'm guessing this was squeezed in toward the end. It was a little odd hearing a girls voice coming out.

Pinako: Rikusgamer- I love it. You did her voice perfectly. I haven't heard a ton of people here that can do old ladies really well, so nice job!

Rose: Animegrl5819- I agree that you pulled off the emotion with the soft voice wonderfully. Very nice.

Riza: Mochan- You nailed everything. Seriously, the only word I could come up with was "fantastic."

Shezikah: Rikusgamer- Ha ha, you did great as Sheizikah! You pulled off that nerdiness she has but still kept up right feel for her lines. I really enojyed it.

Izumi: QueenDuranie- Your voice fit Izumi perfectly! I loved your acting, too.

Dante: Animegrl5819- Ooo, she sounds very evil. Nice job. You had a very nice distinction between her and Rose, too, which was great.

Karl Haushoffer: Doccy- There were like two times it felt like the accent slipped, but for the most part you did a very nice job.

Winry: Winry- I liked your Winry. I think maybe a tad bit more energy behind the voice would have helped, but that was my only qualm.

Mixing- Veoh apparently hates me and it wasn't playing it correctly. The music and sound effects were pretty good. There were times when I wanted the voices to be louder. I also heard mic issues on some of the parts, but some of that was out of our control since we can't afford fancy recording equipment. But on the whole I really like it! I know you were talking about going back and doing 50, and if you have the time and comitment from the rest of us I say go for it!

I'd like a downloadable version, too, actually. Just because Veoh doesn't like to work and apparently kills my internet.



Glad you liked my evil laugh, Kathryn. My mom was looking at me really strangely when I was recording it XD. And then I told it was Envy and she said "Oh, okay". Yeah, my mom watches FMA.

And Kyo_Starr, I actually was listening to the Japanese version when I was recording it, ha ha. And I do prefer that one, too. But I honestly listen to it and feel like something's missing from him, so if I get a chance to play him again I'll keep that in mind...
