Actually,one of my favorite characters in Persona 3 was Shinjiro(Akihiko's childhood friend). I won't say much about him since it is a huge spoiler tag but he's awesome!!!!

First episode of Persona 4 aired a few hours ago, and is up on sentai's TheAnimeNetwork site. Overall I enjoyed it. Was nice seeing an anime based on one of the games to actually follow the game. They did a lot of stuff that kept to the flow of the game, like the "Day changing" segments, had "Pursuing my true self" as the opening theme and so on.

I feel this one will be good, so I can't wait for the next episode.

It's kinda funny how we are skipping to the 4th game when it comes to the anime.

I don't think so. It's one of the more popular entries in the Persona series. The first two aren't very well known and the third one did have a spin off anime.

Still, it technically got an anime.

Although, a Persona 2 anime would be interesting, especially with the "Joker" aspect. I'd watch that in a heartbeat

Yeah it was still an anime! XD I actually didn't mind it myself, I was never too deeply attached to the games. I own 3 & 4 and have played a bit of them, got much farther into 4 then I did 3 though.
