I'd hope notI want something truly new already. I'd also read they were coming up with designs for characters in it, so it's already sounding like something new.
On the Arena topic though, since I've been playing it a bit more and finding it pretty fun, I wish they had a different feel to the controls as it sort of gives me a BlazBlue feeling. I didn't care for the fighting style of that game and this one kind of has a similar flow with the buttons. Voice acting is just lovely, especially from the replacements (Love the new Chie the most, fits her so much better). Labrys is also an interesting character addition, being she's related to P3 characters but is an original made for this game.

I picked up the Xbox 360 port of Persona 4 Arena(believe me. I rarely have enough money to shop at the $20 bin, let alone a full-priced title. I was rather excited.)while visiting folks in Arizona, and I have to say I might have found a fighting game I can call my own between my friends.
Spoiler:
I find the fighting fluid, it does share some similar feelings towards Arc System Works' other fighting games, but it's got enough different variations to keep it fresh. I hated it when my Persona broke. Makes me feel kinda weak.

An uncut trailer for SMT IV is out and hopefully this won't get gutted by Youtube's copyright policies that are very draconian in practice.
