Background:
We have a forum text roleplay game called "White Feathers". It's an original story playing in a fictional present southern Japan, borrowing elements from different anime shows, or anime/Japanese cliché or "perversions" in general.
The story evolves around young Nanoka (15) and her young single mother Makie (33). As Makie is too busy running her beauty parlour she bought a so-called Persocon [not unlike those in "Chobits"] to look after her daughter. Nanoka starts to explore her first blooming feelings for the opposite sex in shape of classmates, the homeroom teacher and her male Persocon Shiro.
Effort:
There likely will be several episodes of about 10 to 20 minutes. The whole project will certainly last for quite a while (as the RP will be continuing). So it would be desired, if you want to be a main character, that you are available over a period for certainly more than a year.

Narrator: (medium-low) There is a narrator who describres the not seen surroundings or emotions. The narrator has a lot of lines, but is not required excessive acting. Voluminous adult timbre desired. As a narrator please speak more closely to the microphone.
Listening to Futaba-chan playing Ultimate Cosmic Fighting Challenge 3 was never boring, Nanoka had to admit. The noise level in the video arcade was nearly deafening as it was, but Nanoka imagined that Futaba's enthusiastic cries (and dismayed yells) could probably be heard across the street outside.
Makie looked exhausted as she dragged herself into the living room and slumped onto a zabuton by the table. She wore seemingly nothing much more than a dark red negligé, that went down to her knees. It wasn't too revealing, yet, it definitely had sth salacious to it.
Omura-sensei (medium-low) ('-sensei' is the title given to a teacher in Japan) is a high school teacher in his late 20s. He is a well-spoken man who rarely, if ever, seems to be caught verbally off guard. He has considerable poise and composure, and speaks in very mild, reasonable tones. Little is known of his personal life yet; as yet, he has only been seen in his professional role as Nanoka's teacher.
[teacher addressing his pupils standing right in front of them]
"Perhaps I can explain it to you later. For now, though, you and Kohinata move up to the board. Tanaka, you can sit down. Anzai, complete his equation. Kohinata, write down this equation and start graphing it..." context
[politely and reassuringly] "Hai, wakarimashita. You are a business woman, after all, Kohinata-san. It's a great responsibility to raise a child on one's own, and you have done admirably if Nanoka's academic aptitude is anything to go by. You may rest assured that she is in safe hands, Kohinata-san. Your daughter must be very precious to you." context
Tanaka Yukio (medium) is 16 years old and appears with only one line on the first day, but he is pulled out into the open by Futaba the following days. He is not shy, but he stays in the background. He is polite and somehow average. His only quirk is, that he seems to find different traits of different girls in his class attractive. E.g. Futaba because she is wearing glasses. But he quickly develops a certain Futaba-Paranoia. So he is often bewildered and/or upset.
[stalking his classmates in the arcades]
"Uso! This girl did it again, she just vanished." context
[surprised/upset ] "YOU?! A... GOMEN?! Why did you do that?! Ahhhh. What have I done to you, that you start haunting me like that?! Look! I can't go to classes like that, sou naaaa! [pitiful/shattered] I should have stayed in bed..." context
side cast:
Nakamura Kenshin (medium-low) (16) has a mellow personality and behaves like a phantom. He's a loner not because he can't make any friends, he just doesn't mind the solitude he has, rarely talks about himself nor does he try to get involved in anything that doesn't concern him.

So Kohinata-san, how do you like Shiro-san? Does he only respond to direct commands? Can he learn on his own? Or is he all pre-set?
Sato-sensei: (medium-low) (38+) speaks hesitantly, often speaking in bursts, then pausing to correct himself. He seems fascinated with the female form (especially slim, well-toned bodies). He teaches PE at Nanoka's school.
Hai, I'm preparing a presentation video. Kohinata, go on - take off your clothes-- ah, tracksuit! Tracksuit... sorry. Where was I? Kohinata-san, could I perhaps ask your help in setting up the vaulting mat? I want to tuck this sheet around this area... to make it look nicer, ne? Kohinata - what are you waiting for? Masayuki: (medium) One of Aiko-chan's fans, and the self-proclaimed best soccer player in the class, he belongs to the Peanut-Gallery.
Peanuts-Gallery boys: (medium-low) boys around 16, who comment on things happening in classes, or in the arcades. Often teasing, mocking and with sexual innuendos. There are also younger pupils around 10 who are encountered on the way to school.(with fake hurt feelings) Masaka! Is Sato-sensei the one that you made your memories with, Aiko-chan? That's so mean! You know what I feel for you, you broke my heart!
(pleading) Aiko-chan, now that Sato is cheating on you with Nanoka-chan, would you rather twirl my baton, onegai!?
(with hope) Aiko-chan? Do you want to be a resident hot 'love love' couple with me, too?

(teasingly) Naaah, Aiko-chaaan, are you envious, that Sato-sensei does not share his... !soup! ...with you, but with Nanoka-chan?
