Well hi :)Names Igor(thunder in background), i'm 22 and a student, 1st of all, i'm really really really new at this sorta stuff, never did anything serious, but i like doing voices and stuff...U know imittate a penguing giving birth while listening to bbc1, that sorta stuff

About pointers, the only advice I can really give is don't be shy. Audition for things, and post up a demo reel. Then we can give you much better advice than we can without hearing you If you have any questions, feel free to ask, and Welcome to the Board!

Ehh...Yeah, male here. *runs and hides*

Demo Reel: Easiest way is to sit down with your microphone and start recording. Best program for beginners is Audacity. It's a pretty helpful program. On this site there are tutorials on how to get started with it. After you act out your demo reel, you can export it in a WAV or MP3 format (For MP3 though you have to get a patch for Audacity. A link to it is in the tutorials.) Then after you export the file, upload it to Putfile, or your choice of website, then post a link to it in the Shorts and Samplers thread. It's as easy as that.
