I am a amateur producer. While I haven't produced anything worth viewing, at the moment I am working on a film that looks like it will go well.

I'll start searching around for some VAs once the script is finished.

One thing I didn't get about yah'll, is are copyrighted material a no go for you to work on? Obviously fandubs fall in that category, but I did not see this directly addressed.

Just a nerd that lives for his work and college. Few hobbies are video games, self-defense, 3D junk, reading anything and everything not mainstream.

Other than that, hope we can work well together in the future.

Zan is fine. Well, it really depends. I usually give two weeks for auditions to role in. That gives it enough time to get some notice and what not. But I don't think it takes all that long.

As far as copyrighted material goes, it's certainly allowed. There's fandubs and fan-based radioplays all over the place, and since no one's doing any of it for profit, I think we're pretty safe. Just beware of doing more than a few minutes of anything done by Disney, since they've got sue-happy lawyers coming out of their ears. >D;

And you can generally choose how long you want to take to round up some VAs for a project. Either start up an audition thread and set yourself a deadline, or you can just scout around for people if you wish.
