Constantly having very good reasons to put off recording for another day. I mean, spending the entire day working on my brand new computer which happens to have a broken motherboard, then spending the rest of the day with my friends who I've barely seen all summer is a perfectly good reason to wait until tomorrow, but those deadlines just keep nagging the back of my brain...

Once when I first auditioned for something, I recorded on my imac on a program called Voice Candy and had no idea how to convert it to .mp3 so I sent it as some other file. The person sent me the file back, and said "I will not accept this" and I was all like "Foo' you suck"

Oh wait a peeve, Oh yes.
I dislike it when people bump they're thread so many times, I mean a bump or two is fine, but 5 or 10 bumps everyday? Seriously, there's no need for it >_> we get you want people to audition, just have patience. The post goes right up to the top when you post once anyway :/

Hey, I'm going to sound super n00bish right now, but I'm actually curious why some producers demand mp3s. I mean, I always follow directions and if they ask me to record in mp3 I'll do it, but why not .wav format? I'm sincerely curious I'm not trying to be like "BOO ON DIRECTORS WHO DON'T TAKE .WAV". ^ It's because .WAV format ends up being huuuge. You might not think it is, but save a bunch of lines in .MP3, then in .WAV and compare the difference in the size. D:

Other than the fact that WAVS. are HUGE, it can also be pain to work with on some programs such as Adobe Audition.
