You know when the urge to voice act comes back, but then the world decides to thwart any opportunities you have to record? Yeah. Bit of an average peeve, but it's bothering me because I'm a little behind on a couple of things.

Needing copy to read for a Character reel and not being able to come up with exciting dialogue that works for your character voices.
Sniffles. Sniff.
(It's a chronic condition for me.)

Working so hard on something only for it to go completely ignored.

I haven't been able to record in a long time due to being busy either with school and/or my job. Today was the first time in months where I could do a recording session, but I felt really discouraged the whole time and just felt like my voice acting isn't on par to where it used to be. Plus I struggled with maintaining the voice for just one line..
Hopefully I can shake this funk and get back into the groove of things again. I miss enjoying this stuff.

Having my mic for only a little over half a year and it's already failing me. It's not that it's broken but it's impossible to record using that mic without getting this weird buzzing/humming sound in the background even when the room is completely quiet. Because of that, I am now forced to take a hiatus from recording until I get a new and (hopefully) better mic.

I can do one better. Needing to do an emergency scout because the last VA's beliefs were in conflict with the 2nd script, then having to wait at least a week just to confirm a VA's suitability for the role you scouted them for. This stuff takes an awful lot of patience and persistence.
