I'm trying to bloody record my lines for deadlines which are looming, and my dad is playing his keyboard stupidly loud. He KNOWS I need to record. He KNOWS I need quiet. But noooo. Oh noooo. He has to play his keyboard NOW. If I ask him to stop, he'll get angry. Great. I can't exactly move either because I'm in the quietest part of the house right now...

Probably my biggest pet peeve is when people want professional quality work but are either unable or unwilling to pay decent rates for it, either because they haven't done any research, or they have but regardless will make solicitations of talents and/or their agents like "I'll be happy to buy (him/her/you) lunch..."

Not that a great lunch from time to time isn't a special thing and all, but y'know...
