I'm sure someone has posted this before, but I just have to say it.
I hate when people "feel bad" for "rejecting" people who auditioned, and so they feel obligated to pity-cast (I dunno, I just made up the term). This is a clear indication of the unprofessionalism going on. If you can't cast someone who's more fit for the role because you "wanna give everyone a chance" or whatever, you aren't doing what's best for your project as a whole.
I don't know why people feel guilty about casting the best of the best. I would expect no less from any producer, as people have to learn how to deal with rejection. ESPECIALLY those aspiring to go pro. GEEZ!
