Unprofessionalism. This is something I'm very touchy about. I like to do things 'right' or in the correct way and when I see people missing deadline dates or just handing out roles to random people just because they're the first person to audition...it really gets to me. In my humble opinion deadlines are set for a reason, and everyone should be evaluated before a role is handed out.
^ Sorry, I might sound a little annoyed there, but this is a personal pet peeve of mine. o.e

And, of course, the big one; when people tell you you've got the role and then a week later hand it out to someone else without giving you any notice.
    I was told I definitely had the role of the character. Fine with me, that was great news; but when I heard nothing from the person for I week I checked their channel and saw the role was now held by someone else. This wouldn't have been so bad if they at least had the courtesy to tell me. ;A;
Plus, again, it's unprofessional. If someone doesn't fit the role don't immediately give it out to them. Wait until the deadline and evaluate everyone who auditioned, please! The world will be a better place! xD

Again, I apologize if I sound a little agitated. These things just tick me off. xD

When a spot is cast before thedeadline is met.
Like one time I saw I had a month to audition for three roles I liked. The nxet day I checked the thread again just before I began to record to get the lines and I see they are cast to someone already.
I was like...uh...why even put up a deadline? It was not selfcasted but...now I cant really be bothered to even try out for the extras seeing as you do this.

Not knowing where to place my mic to make everyone happy... if I put them to high people peak the crap out of them... medium they manage to cover them up with music some how to where I can barely be heard and quiet well no one likes quiet... it is very hard to make everyone happy when you are working with people are different levels of mixing skills...

None of this is your fault! You can only provide your lines at a decent level and it's up to the mixer to normalize all the levels. The decent level to record at will be as loud as possible without peaking. Adjust as necessary for quiet lines and loud lines.

Although it sucks, take this as a good thing. This producer is not worth your time and you should not decide to work with this producer again. Producers should never tell someone they will definitely get a role because someone else can always come up and outshine previous auditionees.

Peeve: I hate when people don't make deadlines. Don't accept a role if you're too busy!! I understand if things come up.. But still.. I TRIED TO WARN THEM.

    1) When people are looking for staff to do all the hard work (editing for example) and say they "created" the work when all they did was gather people up and give them things to do.
    2) When some people don't take their own projects seriously. I know this is for fun, but you need to draw the line somewhere. They just ask for voices and slap it on the clip without proper editing, lip syncing etc, no other sound or music etc.
    3) When people send out lines for people to audition only to no bother finishing it without telling the voice actors and other volunteers why.

When I'm kept waiting to see some of the clips, that I sent in my lines for, to surface in the completed works section! -no patience whatsoever- ^_^:

This. This times infinite. If you've had someone do a job for you and you don't state anything but the voice actors in the info/credits/etc is ridiculous. Especially when the "producer" does nothing but cast folks and has people script write and edit for him.
    Making monster voices since 1969.

Voice actors who think they're better than everyone else and have a completely unjust ego... that's my pet peeve =]

A producer that's just... an ass... and so much of one that it makes you put off doing your lines, or even speaking to them in general. BE NICE to your cast. Treat them fairly, respect that they are helping you out... in most all cases... for free.
