    When people explicitly state that they are "too lazy" to compile parts/whatever they're doing in their audition video. If you're too lazy to put work into your project, why should I? If you say this, I have no reason to believe you will have the willpower to get your project off the ground.

    When producers open up audition threads, keep bumping them, receive your auditions, (never feeling the need to critique you, even if you've requested them to) and once the deadline passes (and your eyes are wide open to know if you're on the cast list), don't care to update the thread even with a simple "CLOSED" sign. Just keeps you wondering if you did make the part, until you come across a video in the finished projects four days after the deadline and find out that you SO did not make the part! The episode you auditioned for is staring right at your face, fully dubbed and mixed! This always makes me think twice before auditioning..

    Allow me to play a bit of devils advocate, for the closed sign thing. Maybe they don't know how to change the title, just recently I learned how to edit the Thread title. Or they got much on their plate. other then that, that's awful that this happens with some producers. but when you don't post the cast list up, and then find it by random, not only is that a slap to the face for the actors who audition but for the ones that where waiting impatiently for news of any kind. Can't believe there are people like that.

    Sorry but I don't think something put together in four days can be that fantastic if it required an audition thread for characters, just saying. Usually those types of projects are boredom ones from what I've seen and been part of.

    This happened to me before, but that was a few years ago. I auditioned for a few extras. After the deadline passed, I was waiting so long for the cast list. A week later, I found the completed project on YouTube and that's how I found out I didn't get any parts. I was so disappointed that the person didn't even let me know that I didn't get cast. At least let me know so I won't have to waste my time waiting for nothing.

    That was me, but with my cavities in my front teeth ;A; Every time I spoke a certain way and inhaled... >>

    Right now, my pet peeve is people who don't put up voice types for a character. I can't read your mind, so at least give me a little direction. And when I ask you about how you want the voice to be, you tell me "I don't know". Really ?

    Got a couple this time...

    Producers that are unreasonably impatient. The kind that send out 22 episodes of something and demand the lines for every episode at once, RIGHT NOW. Then want all of those lines done in real time, with them on the horn with you while you do all of them to their version of perfection... and if any random disruption happens on your end, they go to the group chat and say you're having trouble doing your lines and they can't get you to turn anything in. Oh the things people ask for...

    Secondly -

    Freakin' heat waves from hell! Well over 101 degrees outside, and trying to record in the studio with the AC turned OFF. Ugh. Terrible, terrible state of affairs. It's like deciding between a silent BG noise ratio or heat stroke =_=

    Yes, I do understand that.. : ) But they can at-least make a final post in the thread saying that they already found the voice and have contacted them. Then I would know that I wasn't chosen.. D:

    No, it's short scene, with not much SFX and BGM.. I auditioned for it just to give my acting skills some practice.. So not being chosen is not a major loss, I guess..

    Yup! It really makes one wonder if it'll be worth auditioning for a project. After-all, it's a waste of our time and energy if the producer disappears after getting the voice they wanted...The "trust" factor is everything.

    I am in the biggest waiting game ever. ' -';;

    -Secret project? In the mercy of.....an artist, basically.
    -JRPG Parody? At the mercy....of an artist.
    -Releasing my novel? At the mercy of....an artist, basically. lol (In charge of editing)
    -Art for my new novel series? ....Definitely at the mercy of an artist.

    Now, if you all know my life by now, it should be obvious that artists tend (TEND) to not be punctual with my group and middle finger my attempts at maintaining an awesome schedule at nearly every turn with the exception of one artist. (Bless her soul) I'm hoping the ongoing artists will pull through without feeding me more bull to add to the pile of bull I've been given for the past 10 years, but uh...pardon if my expectations aren't high right now:

    -The reason The Perjurer had a few delays? Buahaha. Artists.
    -The reason "Another Crazy World" went from visual to audio-only? Oh you just know artists middle fingered delivering on promises.
    -Did you know the JRPG parody went through 4 artists before one finally pulled through and *made* something?

    So the peeve? Having to wait on artists. It's a *slight* more difficult to look for replacements and a lot more hostile to sort through them. (Example: I'm up to a dozen artists who have needlessly raged at me for wanting control over my project and up to 0 voice actors who did the same. Zero!) So now, I do nothing but wait and upload no new series or trailers for new stuff. ; _;
    ==Music requests are no longer available due to an overload with little output or feedback. Commissions however, are totally available!==
