Project information:
I come from the far away land of LJ, seeking out a few choice Narrators for a project of AudioFics.
AudioFics are an idea my community is interested in, where some of the fanfiction is read aloud and recorded, edited (Not as a story, but as an audiobook) and then presented to them for fanficiton readers to dowload and listen to.
Now, you must know firstly that;
They are slash (yaoi, gay) fanfiction lovers, and the community is for Severus Snape/Remus Lupin fanfiction. This is what you'll be doing for the most part at first, though if it takes off I suspect a new audiofic community will be born and other fanfiction will be presented.
Secondly- You may request to not read the smutty bits, but I would like for some people to be willing to read the more 'blushy' parts as well.
- These fanfiction stories will be of varying lengths. The way the process will work is I or someone else in the community will have a list of fanficitons that are ready to be recorded, and you will pick one out and read it, and send it to me for editing. Some fanfictions will be several chapters long, some may even be incomplete (chapter wise) and will be ongoing projects for you. Once you say you will narrate a story we would highly appreciate your dedication in finishing the entire story so it has audible continuity. -
Deadline - I will stop checking the forum within about 2 weeks, so you have until about July 15th to get in an audition.

- Save them as MP3's. Only MP3's will be accepted. (I do not know the more technical bits of recording, just record where it sounds normal)

About the Narrator-
We are not looking for anything in particular. Someone of either gender, as long as they can read the stories with seriousness and not burst into gigglefits.
It would be preferrable if you could have a smoothe tone with the ability audibly differentiate between characters- If any of you have heard the Sherlock Holmes or Harry Potter audiobooks, those have very good narrators.
And an English accent would be nice, but certainly not at all required, it would be just for fun ^^.

Line 01 - Narrator: "It was beyond Snape's comprehension that the boy still hadn't grasped the severity of their situation, racing across the Hogwarts grounds to the safety of Hogsmeade and Apparition as Dumbledore's broken body landed in a heap at the bottom of the Astronomy Tower. The boy was slowing, one hand clenched in his robes where the knot in his side was presumably blossoming into a knife stroke of pain after the distance they had already covered under such stressful conditions.
But stressful conditions were Snape's forte; he never ran at any other time."
Line 02 - Narrator: "Remus Lupin was tired of playing nice.
"It would seem Dumbledore's pet werewolf has finally shaken off the shackles Greyback sought to place upon him, my lord."
"Indeed."
Dark Lord and dark man watched impassively as both werewolf packs lunged at each other. Lupin and Greyback met mid-air, the personal vendettas between them superceding the greater battle. As Greyback's clawed hand came raking down across Lupin's face, Severus could see bright jewels of blood splatter up into the air. Lupin's return strike sent Greyback reeling into a tree, the muffled thud no less sickening as the lycanthrope's ankle bent at an unnatural angle and he feel to one knee. Regardless of the rest of the battle, only one wolf was going to come out of that death match alive."
