Ah dude, that was excellent. Mixing was good, and I was very pleased with the acting.

Ayame's crying at the end sounded great.

I tried to follow the emotion in the original clip, but I feel I should have gone more psycho at some parts. Also, I went with a younger sounding voice to maker her sound less like Mion and more like Shion. Not sure if I like it, though...XD Suki-kan, can I redo? XD

Sukisho as Satoshi came out very nicely. I liked the monotone at the beginning, and your emotion at the end.

All the other girls sounded very natural. SFX fit very well too.

Ah~ so much fun. I'm so happy it's complete! ^-^

Wow. The mixing was really good. Maybe a few slight syncing problems, but they were very minor. I gotta say I haven't seen this anime yet...BUT, I agree that the crying and emotions was very good! And yes, topleka could have been a bit more psycho, but overall, your emotions carried over well.
Sukisho had a very nice voice and since I haven't seen the anime, I really can't say anything else. XD But I think you did well.
Everyone did very good. :3

Mixing Only thing is that my yell after Satoko gets thrown at the desk seemed to come in a few seconds late. Otherwise, it was awesome.

"Mion": topleka = I like the youth you give her, but I would've liked to hear it maybe a tad more mature. Your acting was really good, too. Only thing I would've changed is during her tirade against Satoko, it should've sounded a bit more insane, and in some places the anger seemed to slip. Overall, though, you handled her well in this scene.

Satoshi: Sukisho = He sounds better as a guy xD At the beginning, I know he's supposed to sound like a stoner, but it still came off a bit weird - maybe he could have sounded a tad sad? Not quite sure. I liked that you gave him more emotion than the original at the end, but I would have liked to hear even more sadness at the end, instead of just anger. Nice job though.

Rena: Sachibelle = Not a lot to go on, but you have a really cute Rena voice.

Satoko: Ayame = My crying got really low xD

Girls = You both sounded really cute and genuine. Great job.

Rika: KitsuneSqueak = Voice sounded a bit strained, but your emotion was good. I'd like to hear you voice her in her cuter moments and in her "mature" state in order to fully form an opinion though.

Wow, this was nicely done and I loved it. I agree with Ayame, so I won't get picky, but the only thing I would say is that the Cicada sounds in the begining were a little staticky, but other wise I loved each voice they suited the characters really well! ^_^

Oh, and this sounds much better than the official dub >.>

I agree..... >.<;;; This sounds more porfessional than the official dub ^_^

...whoa. I was totally not expecting that. It kinda freaked me out...but then again, it IS Higurashi. I was caught off guard! >>;

"Mion" - topleka: No complaints, really. It's the part that fits you very well and that you do in an accomplished manner. Still, I agree with what you suggest about being a bit more psychotic in the second half in the clip. Nevertheless, well done.

Satoshi - Sukisho: It was OK, but there was something about the last couple of lines in the clip that didn't sound right. They seemed restrained somewhat. All it needed was some pure rage and it would've been perfect. Then again, I'm not an expert on Higurashi so you might've been going for a different angle. Still, not bad.

Rena - Sachibelle: Not that many lines in comparison, but really well acted. Had the right mix of emotion and volume - nice.

Satoko - Ayame: ...wow...that was intense. The number one performance in this clip, in my opinion. I really felt to you and the character. In fact on the first viewing, I almost cried myself. I really wasn't expecting it. I hate to say this, but the crying was faultless and really reached out to the viewer...that must sound really macabre.

Girls - Scarlotte + x0Michellex0: Only one line for each of you but good background character acting. It's always important to put in as much effort for extras and that's what you do. Good job.

Rika - KitsuneSqueak: Again, not as many lines but good timing. That must've been your previous mic as the clipping was noticeable at the end of your line. Nonetheless, it was really well acted.

Mixing: Again, the BGM and the ambience tracks were well picked and placed within the mix. That's the thing about your clips, Sukisho; they sound professional and you don't even look for errors as there are very few. However, there was one sound effect that sounded not quite right. When "Mion" was throwing the books, the SFX sounded too heavy as if they were actual punches instead of a book. Apart from that, nothing was wrong.

Satoshi - Sukisho: It was OK, but there was something about the last couple of lines in the clip that didn't sound right. They seemed restrained somewhat. Ah, that's okay don't need to be an expert on it! I found it really weird when I first saw this part in the original, I understand.

But actually his lines in the end are supposed to be like that since he's a very soft spoken, dull kind of character (as seen in the begining). I did try to give him some more feeling there though then the original but trying to keep with the soft tone he has while doing that causes it to come off a bit odd, even for me. Even the original didn't match up with the video in my mind when I saw it, cause the actress seemed to like she was holding back as well but I went for a similar go at it to try and stay with the character.

Oh, I get ya. In that case, your performance was generally OK as you were retaining faith in the original dub's interpretation. Thanks for clarifying.
