I actually enjoy it most of the time because I get to be outdoors and I don't have to deal with some of the bad customers as much as cashiers do. The only really bad side to the job is ya have to work in crappy weather sometimes and since it's really one of the lowest positions, so sometimes the managers give ya a hard time just for existing. Luckily, I get along very well with most of the higher ups so I very rarely get talked to personally.

However, I am getting a little unsatisfied and tired with doing what I've been doing a while, but I'm sticking with it because I'm trying to get into college and I know the job is very flexible and I'll be able to work whatever hours I need to do, and even be able to transfer if I have to. If college doesn't happen though, I'm more than ready to keep an eye out for a full time job with more responsibility.
I was looking around and saw a fellow Wal-Mart cartpusher and wanted to reply, I hate my managers, most are egotistical assholes, 1 ZMS supervisor, and 3 of the CSM's are nice but most can't be trusted. I rarely get any days off, which is why I am never here and my projects are not done, I am being worked to death. They won't even let someone go home if they have pneumonia or bronchitis. <.<

I just went for Loss Prevention at a theme park, with any luck I will get that job because if I have to stay at Wal-Mart for much longer, I'll shoot myself.

I'm a mix of several things. Most notably an accredited investment analyst, though I cannot by my Confidentiality Agreements disclose what I do to you all.

That and buying out debts from banks and then settling with the delinquent account holders for a large profit.

I work at my town's local Elementary School as a Noon Duty Aid, meaning I watch the kids as they play during recess. Making sure they don't kill themselves or others by doing something stupid. =D

Right now.... I'm a shift leader at a Hollywood Video store. However, mine was one of the 800 or stores nation wide that got the ax from the cooperate company. We are in the middle of a liquidation so I don't know how much longer I am gonna have this job. And I can't go looking for a new one until I know when this one is officially over. If I leave early, I don't get my bonus. And I have worked to many hours to not get my bonus now.

I am also a seasonal cast member at Walt Disney World. I make sure to maintain my status there by going to work two to three times a year because I want to eventually move back there full time. It's just to expensive for me to live there right now. I'm hoping within a year or two though I will have saved enough to make a comfortable move back to Orlando. I wanna make dreams come true again! The Disney College Program Internship was the best decision of my life and I highly recommend it to anyone in their last semester of college with no clue what they want to do after graduation.

I'm an assistant manager at Gamestop. Everybody call it the "ASS-MAN", but I just call it AWSM.

    I am... really busy!

I am a full-time university student. I am majoring in Secondary English Education and, with a little luck on the scheduling side of things, I'll have my degree within a year or so.

I work full-time running the day-to-day office of a daily staffing agency (I send people to work, do payroll, do A/P and A/R, bookkeeping, sales, hiring, you name it). As it is a daily labor service, I work a lot with immigrants and the homeless, so it's a kinda sad job in a way, though it's allowed me to improve my Spanish.

Lastly, I student teach part-time at a local high school (though I'm done with that as of this week until next school year).

After I get my degree, I plan to teach high school English full-time.

EDIT: Oh man, looking at the old job thread is fun. I was managing a Holl7ywood Video at the time and, like Amby's it was eventually liquidated and I was let go. I spent a few months burning through my savings, delivered pizzas for Papa John's to get Christmas presents for my friends and family, and worked for seven months as a ramp agent for Midwest Airlines at Hartsfield International Airport (which meant I did baggage handling, helped land planes, cleaned planes, etc. etc.). And THEN I got this swell office job (though I really miss the airport job, as it was far more active than this one).

Because I'll be pulverizing you sometime over the weekend.

And the cleaning lady... cleans up... dust. She dusts. And she has weekends off, so... Monday. Right?
