Yayy, from Elfen Lied.

I did it the same night as Dust in the Wind. I thought I should update again since Dust in the Wind was just a wee acapella recording. XD; I felt like I was ripping people off, somehow?!

Though I haven't finished watching Elfen Lied, I've always loved this song and a particular friend suggested that I sing it. I noticed SakuraLee also requested it in the request thread. (It's not specifically for anyone this time, though, but a couple of people at once.)

It's been a really long time since singing chorally, and I know it's pretty iffy... XD; Please forgive meeee.. (and the lyrics I find are always weird. I wished RR's piano version included the "ah"s. They're a ton of fun to sing). And if you wondered, I'm a soprano in chamber choir (when I was in HS last year) so the lower range is not as solid as I wished.

It's my first time recording my choral singing and posting it in public like this?!??! -nervous- DX

All in all, I did enjoy singing chorally again and recording this song. :3

Dude, anything you do is just inherently awesome and gets much insta!love from me. <3 Like you said though, you can tell a bit that it's been a while since you've done any choral music. I think it sounds a bit...not quite awkward, but you can tell you're not quite used to/comfortable with it. And like SakuraLee said, a bit of the pronunciation sounded a bit off, but Latin's a tricky language(we're singing enough of it in my chorus now xD; ). But your vibrato is, as always, awesome, and I totally have to agree with SakuraLee again about the "Kyrie" parts. Just... woo, awesome. 8D

For the pronunciation, it was really difficult because the original was already incorrect in its pronunciation and the lyrics everywhere are wrong, no matter how right they are, and thus I could not really figure it out too well. (I say it because I'm quite confident about singing in Latin, having been in Chamber choir and all.) o_o;

I have no confidence in the lyrics available, all in all, because of the incorrectedededness.

Well, it's also that it's in a range where I'm not as strong in chorally. Maybe I'll rerecord it one day and randomly do the "ah"s at the end for the heck of it. Hahahaha. D: Latin choral songs are the best to sing. I love 'em, I loooove 'em! 83

I miss singing in Chamber choir. ;O; My final year in it was not so great and we didn't get to do a many songs as I'd've liked.. ._. I love it when we do a series of works from one composition.. or however it's said. Pretty much we do 3 songs from one entire work each year. We didn't do it this year and our choir teacher was being a lazy bum. =_=;
