Ghostbusters III is finally being made!

Straight from Dr. Ray Stantz's mouth folks. It's going to be a CGI movie (*waits for CG haters* ) and Bill Murray has already agreed to voice Venkman so it's a no-brainer that Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson will be aboard the project. They'll be using Aykroyd's "Hellbent" script where the GBs go to a "hell" version of the Big Apple called Manhellton.

I can't friggin' believe it. After all these years, it's happening. I can't wait.

They don't really have much of choice. Bill doesn't want to do a live-action film and a GB film without Bill Murray would be the worst thing ever and Lorenzo Music is gone. There's no way I'm gonna watch it if they had David Coulier do the voice. He was one of the reasons why the later episodes of Real Ghostbusters sucked.

Look at it this way. The actors voices will still be good but physically they're all looking a little bit over the hill. If you can't get both then you've got to go with what you've got.

ooh! new ghostbusters. this is going to be sweet. What's with the CGI'ing the movies now though? like the new ninja turtles is going to be CGI too. i guess they're just getting lazy and not wanting to do animatronics and...actors and stuff. XD

still though, i'll see it

and it seems like other old movies are getting sequel revisions.

like rocky, rambo, terminator (4 coming out), ninja turtles, ghostbusters, i suppose they're running out of ideas for new franchises. lol

If they just CGI'ed the ghosts, that woulbe be acceptable. But making it ALL CGI? Well then I have this to say...

Ghostbusters = Live Action
Ghostbusters II = Live Action
Ghostbusters III = CGI Animated Feature

I love Ghostbusters, but I just can't be happy with this concept. :\
