A Christmas Duet with Ayame~

Okay, so Ayame and I planned to sing this song last year...but never got around to it. It's Megami ni Naritai by Okui Masami, which is the opening to the Di Gi Charat Ohanami specials. I'm trying to figure out why they picked a Christmas song for the opening...but oh well.

Uhm...I'm also wondering what possessed me to try to sing this, because it's reaching the waaaay edge of my range. Ayame obviously pwns in this, so hopefully it makes up for my bad singing.

Well, besides the last note in th choruses (where I went flat every time lolz >.>) and the oikaketeiru, it sounds really good! Much better than I thought anyway. Yay! This is proof that even when we go OMG WE SUCK we still sound fine. Huzzah!

The song choice was great, I think - it fit both your voices well.

KitsuneSqueak: I could tell it was *slightly* at the edge of your range, like you said, but you managed it superbly. I think you should continue to challenge yourself with higher songs, because it does produce a very nice *different* sound compared to, say, something that is more within your range. You had power here!

Ayame-chan: I loved your vibrato, as usual :') And you were very professional about this whole song. Nice tone, good pitch, and great control.
Not much to critique here!

Mixing was fairly good. I dunno if you guys have similar recording qualities or what, but I couldn't detect a significant difference, so two thumbs way up.

Ayame-chan: Haha, roguerogue already said this, but your vibrato. Gaaaahhh... Gets me everytime. XD Awesome with your pitch. You've got so much strength and power in your voice~!
Man, something about your voice just makes me go, "*____*.... Woww..." XDD

Overall: Wow. I thought the mixing was great. Your voices really blend together nicely. When you were singing in unison, it sometimes sounded like the same voice. Your voices really compliment each other and everything.
You guys really gave this song a great punch. I loved eevverything about it~! ^^
