Now that the the Clow Cards have been captured, Sakura Kinomoto believes that she is going to live the life of a normal girl. But as the new semester starts, mysterious events have begun to surface with the magical signiture of Clow Reed, raising many new questions. Why is Clow's magic turning against Sakura and her friends? Who are the new exchange students? Why are the Cards changing? What is this new power? A series full of magic, questions, humor, and love triangles, Sakura has her work cut out for her.

I adujusted the way I devided up the scenes, so this part is a little pit shorter. The SFX are lously, but I worked my but off on audio levels and I think they are almost perfect... almost. ;__;

Hey, who says you can't run a mafia game and be a productive producer at the same time? <_<;;

Opening Singer/RiverangelOdin: I didn't think it was you at first when you were singing. ^^ I'm not saying that it was a bad thing, you voice was slightly deeper so I had to look twice at the cast list ^^; You're singing really is great the lyrics were good too! ^^ ( to whom ever wrote them <3) ^^
Kero/Koinu Yukina: A little bit too feminine, you needed to sound more annoyed for the bit when you were complaining about syaoran ^^ But you sure did get the part down anyway ^^

Sakura/rikuxharada: A bit more emotion would be great, but you do an amazing Sakura voice! ^^

Touya/Hideki: No problems, I thought you did a great voice for him ^^

Fujitaka/kerocr: As people have mentioned beforehand- more father likeness is needed! xD of course that can be hard unless you were a father ^^;

Yukito/Sukisho: I would have expected a slighty higher voice, but you still did a great job! ^^

Li/KitsuneSqueak: You're so good at male voices, no complaints! ^^

Mixing: Great mixing for a first time, background music and sfx were pretty good.
Can't wait till part 2! ^^

The coputer I'm using is retarded so I'll give a full critique later but it looks great so far ^^~

EDIT:

Opening Singer-- RiverAngelOdin: I heard a few skips in your mic, but your singing = <33
Kero-- Koinu Yukina: Your lines seemed to be a bit poppy/puffy but I liked your voice in this ~
Sakura Kinomoto-- rikuxhadara: There were times where you caught the emotion, but you didn't catch the character. Sakura's very bright and happy, I'm not saying there isn't emotion, I'm saying you could add a bit more and polish off Sakura's character. Sometimes the emotion clicked to the scene, but the interpretation to her character didn't. Some points seemed more like she was whining instead of being freaked out about not finishin her homework in time. That "hoeeeeee" and "ahhhh" at the beginning could've had a more shocked GYAKKK to it. Also, pronunciation of names need to be sharpened (especially @ Yukito)
Touya Kinomoto-- Hideki: No complaints~
Fujitaka Kinomoto-- kerocr: There could've been a more father-like emotion into it, I could see some emotion but it didn't seem reflective to a father-like nature. Love riku. She is your daughter >DD!
Yukito Tsukishiro-- Sukisho: No complaints ~
Shaoran Li-- Kitsune Squeak: No complaints ~

Mixing: In the beginning I could hear a lot of clicks in between the lines o-o? I think the OSTs could've been cranked down just a little, and some of the footsteps sounded odd @_@~ But this is really good for your first attempt at mixing ^^

Yay, part 1 is up! Unfortunately, the school decided to block dailymotion. >.< So I'll get a critique up later today. ^^;

EDIT:

Opening Singer/Me: Err...I thought I was a bit shaky at the beginning, but I definitely got a bit stronger at the end. I also think that my range could have been slightly higher to fit the song better. And then, of course...there's that high note at the end. >.< High notes are not my specialty. And I'm also not sure of how to make that transition over the bridge smoother. Because...my bridge tends to be a bit low. =/

Kero/Koinu Yukina: I thought it was cute! The voice fit the character well! There were some points, though, where I thought you sounded slightly too feminine and your emotion was a bit iffy here and there. Also, I didn't really hear Kero's whiny tone that he has.

Sakura/rikuxharada: My only complaint was that you lacked emotion once in awhile, which is something that's very noticable with this character. Sakura's a very bright and happy character and you just need to add that to your voice! ^^

Touya/Hideki: No complaints! ^^

Fujitaka/kerocr: Just need to add that fatherlike tone to your voice and it would be great! ^_^

Yukito/Sukisho: His voice is naturally a little bit higher than you portrayed here, but I still liked this! So...no complaints! ^^;

Li/KitsuneSqueak: Alrighty, I've been dying to tell you this, but...when it comes to pulling off male voices, you're my idol. *_* So no complaints!

Mixing: I thought it was really good for your first time! ^_^ Watch out for your SFX, though. That's a big one. You definitely could have brought down you SFX and music.

CRITIQUE TIME!

First off I want to say that I am pleased to see that this dub is moving right along. I have very high hopes for this one. So let's critique it, eh?

OP SINGER: Your tone was not what I was expecting for this song; your voice is a bit deeper than I thought. It worked well. I can tell that you're working with a good set of lungs! You have all the basics of singing down, so now it's just time to work on refining things. The biggest issue was when you went up right before the end; just work on making your transistions smoother. Otherwise, keep up the good work.

KERO: I love your voice for this. You make a very cute Kero! He's very high pitched, but he still sounds like a boy. The only thing I would like is to hear more spunk from you. Your Kero is very sweet, but the character is often very whiny and bratty. The lines where you were dissing Syaoran needed more of that. I think this is a very relaxed scene for Kero, but I hope to see some more attitude from him in the future. EDIT: Oh yeah.. mic puffs! Back away from your mic a little, or try making a pop screen. In a pinch you can sometimes edit those out. Just keep an eye on them.

SAKURA: You have a very cute, very young voice. Probably because you are a very cute, young girl. But I digress. While I've come to expect something higher from Sakura (as per the original seiyuu,) I think your depth of voice works very nicely. It sounds very natural. That said, you need to work a bit on your tone. From listening to your demo reel and a couple of other things, I hear a natural spunkiness to your voice. You sound very sure of yourself, very capable of taking care of things. That's great! But for Sakura you need to tone it down a little. Sakura is still very shy and uncertain. I'd love to hear more of that shyness in your voice. Work especially on moments when she's embarrassed (like when Syaoran catches her singing, or the 'hoeeee!') Perhaps try adding a little bit of breathiness into your voice sometimes? Play around with it. I have a lot of faith in you, and I think Sakura is a role that you can really grow into. I like you alot as Sakura so far, so keep working!

TOUYA: Touya seems so annoyed with life. Perfect! I feel like I can't critique this much, because I've heard Hideki in this role so many times and I don't think anything can change. I'm sure you can work on something, Hideki.. maybe lightening your voice a little? You have such a big voice. Maybe something softer would work better. Eh, play around with it. Even if it's a character that you've voiced over and over, don't get complacent. Work work work.

FUJITAKA: I believe this is the first time I have heard your voice. Pleased to meet you. You have a slight nasal quality to your voice. Not always a bad thing, but it tends to make you sound more youthful. If you can bring your voice down into your chest, or even your throat, you will sound more mature. Your acting suited the character very well, so if you could work on your voice a little I think you would be a very nice father figure.

YUKITO: Being the Ogata fan that I am, I generally prefer females for this role. *shot* However, if a male is going to voice Yuki, it has to be Sukisho. Much like Sakura in this dub, his voice certainly doesn't match the original seiyuu.. and that's OKAY. I really like hearing original takes on characters. Sukisho as Yukito is adorable. He sounds like a very nice guy. You do sound a bit nasal though, so watch that. And don't kill me.

SYAORAN: Good voice for him. You seem to have a recurring problem with lighter voiced boys where you sound too feminine. The issue there is that you actually have a very cute voice (do you realize that?) However, in male roles that have a little bit of gruffness in their voices, you really shine. That makes you perfect for Syaoran. I feel like I am not making my point very well. Okay, recap: Kitsune + rough voice = awesome boy. There. Just make sure you are maintaining a constant level of gruffness; otherwise you risk sounding like his voice is cracking.

MIXING: I'm very gentle on mixing, if you aren't aware. If people are talking approximately when mouths are moving, I'm happy. *sigh* But, I suppose you should watch those lip flaps. A lot of that has to do with how you script. Not a big issue for me, but you should work on it. More importantly, watch your sfx. They tended to be too loud. Whenever Sakura fell out of her chair, it sounded like someone dropped a bag of bricks. Maybe that's why Touya calls her a monster? In any case, sfx should be quieter. When I mix I generally keep my sfx and bgm at about half the level of my voices. See what works for you. Vocal levels were pretty consistant. Keep an eye on voices like Hideki's that tend to be louder (or like mine that tend to be quiet.) Keep up the good work; this is going to be great.

Opening Singer-- RiverAngelOdin: Not quite what I expected. XD You have a pretty voice though. You did get pitchy at some points, and I heard you struggle for the pitches in the chorus. It also sounded like you were trying to sing out while trying to hold back--don't be afraid to sing out strong! I think more practice would've made this really shine~<3 (Oh, and one other thing--I believe you maxed out your mic at one point--that could be the mixing or maybe you just were too close to the mic)

Kero-- Koinu Yukina: It was cute~ My main complaint is his lack of spunk! Also, puffs, puffs, puffs. Try to stay farther from the microphone. ^^

Sakura Kinomoto-- rikuxharada: Not quite what I expected, but it was fitting. All I can really say is that you need more emotion. Oh, and you pronounced "HOE!" wrong. XD It's "HO-EHHHH!", not "HO-EEEEEE!"

Touya Kinomoto-- Hideki: It sounded a bit too gruff for Touya, but the emotion was great~

Fujitaka Kinomoto-- kerocr: It sounded weird how you sounded younger than Touya. o.o Also, you were mumbling!! Enunciate, and also keep farther from the mic -- I heard puffs. Emotion was very fatherly, though.

Yukito Tsukishiro-- Sukisho: Yeah, yeah, yeah...we all know Sukisho makes a great Yukito. XD

Shaoran Li-- KitsuneSqueak: RAWR. yeah...>_> *stabs lines*

Mixing: Pretty good for a first~ I think the main things to work on would be matching the flaps and working on SFX--in the beginning, the SFX seemed to cut in and cut out unnaturally.

I'm soooo sorry, I always mess everything up!!! I really didn't the series all too well when I was first casted, but now I know it LOTS better. I promise I'll do much better next time.

Kero: I thought that Kero's voice should have been a little lower, and the clicks were still in XD

Sakura: don't remind me, I know I suck

Touya: it's hideki he's amazing at everything

Fujitaka: no compaints

Yukito: once again another GREAT performance from Sukisho

Li: you good. from listenning to almost all the clips you've done I always though every boy voice you did was so similar, but this one was different and i loved it.

Mixing: good for a first dub
