    I didn't feel like it did a good job of adapting it at all though...

    I felt more like I was watching a movie adaptation of an AU fanfiction of Howl's Moving Castle.

    But I've complained a ton about the movie before. XD; Time to stop for Sachibelle.

    Sachibelle is - Eternal Rival! of KitsuneSqueak, SachiSachi's Naming Twin, and Part of the AndyKittySachi Family!

    *cough* Add me onto the bandwagon about being a bit disappointed in the 'Howl' movie. X3;

    Anyways, I love Dianna Wynne Jones's books, though I haven't read any in a while. I think the first one I read was 'Dark Lord of Derkholm', and then I just absolutely fell in love with her writing style. <3 I'll definitely have to look into her Chrestomanci series.

    The bandwagon's getting quite large. XD

    I haven't read 'Dark Lord of Derkholm'. I should probably go to Borders and buy it later. <3

    Actually this makes me think what DWJ books would make good films or TV shows. I know the BBC did Archer's Goon but I never saw it.
    I would love to see Charmed Life shot in the style the BBC did Pullman's " I was a Rat."

    Methinks we may need a bigger wagon soon...

    I would definitely reccomend picking up 'Dark Lord of Derkholm'. ^^
    Though now that I think about it, I think I actually read the sequel to it first. XD;

    Actually I've been meaning to get a hold of 'Dark Lord of Derkholm' again, I can't remember it very well at all. I also want to get a copy of The rough guide to fantasyland.

    I was going to buy Pinhoe Egg today, but I realized it was only in hardcover at the moment. >_> And seeing as I'm near-broke...

    I'll probably see if the library has it.

    I am a huge DWJ fan. i love Darklord of Derkholm. (It's actually a sequel to another book which I ended up reading after called Deep Secret or something.) then after Darklord of Derkholm there's Year of the Griffon.I haven't actually read her new book yet though I'd love to. I really want to reread Fire and Hemlock but I have totally lost it!
    I like the movie of HMC but i don't think it did the book justice. The story was all over the place and DWJ's books tend to be really carefully worked out. Plus I know the Japanese love their mecha(sweeping statement of the month!) but the castle was meant to be a threatening floating castle not a kind of weird house on top of a fish but I thought it was cool that Miyazaki made the japanese voice actor put on a welsh accent(though I really can't hear it!)

    Well, that post was really long!

    Well, I got Pinhoe for Christmas and I love it. I finished it in less than a day. Ehe. >_> Now I'm reading Dark Lord of Derkholm and it's really good so far~ I put Conrad's Fate on order, so I can't wait for that!!
