Hello! As some of you may remember, way back in the day, I started a KKJ fandub of episode 17. That's coming along swimmingly...

This video is something I pieced together from scratch in order to get people up to speed with the show, so by the time episode 17 is released, you'll have some clue of what's going on.

As far as my thoughts on this... I think my cast did an amazing job. As far as mixing goes.... well, this was kind of my baby, my very first project ever, and I pieced it together from scratch, and I think it turned out ok. But the first three minutes are kinda boring. But it gets better! I personally decided only to put sounds in the actual scenes with dialogue, as I didn't want to put the focus too much on any one tiny clip, verses the overall story that the narrator was talking about (or, rather, I'm just lazy). So anyway... please watch and enjoy.

Oh! And also, this was Renken's first fandub... so tell him how great he was, even then.

I really enjoyed this!
I thought the mixing was fine! The beginning silence was a tad awkward but it gets better as the clip goes on. Great music choices!
The cast was also excellent. I sound slightly forced in places... but two people who really stood out were Renken and Mizura. Man, they did SO awesome!

Yay! I'm glad that the project isn't dead ^_^ I didn't check out the preview yet but I'm sure I will soon. But it brings me great joy to know that the project is still being worked on. Yay, I'll be looking forward to attempt to slightly hear my voice in the background with audiance cheering, fun.

I thought it was uber cute and a nice intro to le episode. <3 Access & Fin were both adorable, and I thiiiink it's the first time I've heard Renken? Ah he did so much better at matching mouth movements than I did ! XD

I really loved Mizura and Renken; you guys are definitely the stars of this project! n_n Access was next in my line of favorites, and all the little extras and minor characters were just as great. :3

Mixing was quite good, too; I'm glad the music was added to this, it sounds a lot more exciting! XDD

Great job to everyone - I'll give a full and extensive review with the next release. ^.^

And yeah... I just want to say again how awesome I think my cast was!

Just a few words on my Promo-only cast...

Narrator/GenesisAvalon - I'd say I was surprised at how few comments there have been on your part in this... but it makes sense, I suppose. You were just so natural in this. It flowed perfectly, and regardless of how many times I've seen it, you always draw me into the story. Your voice is perfect and calm and I'm so glad I cast you as this.

Access/Chinomi - Forced? Pfft. Maybe you've improved during the six months since you recorded these lines, but you still sounded great. How you could maintain the boy voice and the yelling and the frantic sounding-ness, all at once, is beyond me.

Natsuda/Sukisho - Thank you so much for doing this on such short notice for me. You sounded great.

Haruta/James - I love you Jamesie!

Sighing Girls/ Haushinka, Song of Amazon, Margo - You guys rock. I needed these sighs, and my wonderful understudies were wonderfully gracious in doing this for me. You guys all sounded adorable together. I was really happy with how your part turned out.




Thanks for the comments guys. The actual episode may still be a while, yet. But I'm optimistic that it will be released before the one-year anniversery of when my project was first posted.... amazing how soon that's coming up.


Oh, and Mizura, you did fine matching lip movements. Anything that looks kind of funny is my bad. Back in the day when I did these scripts I was dumb and just "la la la... looks like whatever is in the subtitle can be said in the same amount of time as the character talks, so we're good!" My scripting job was rather bogus. Next time I'll pay more attention to syllables and such. You did fine.

Wow...my past is coming back to haunt me. XD I thought this turned out great! I really can't wait to see the episode. Everyone did a fantastic job with their roles! I really liked Mizura's lines. She makes an awesome Maron. I think I killed Sinbad’s voice. Sorry about that. Anyway, glad that this project is still alive! Keep it up Auri~ ^^
