After all of the auditions I've done, I've finally got some to put in a demo reel. ^^ I'm still a newbie so this may not show all of my vocal ranges, but I'm proud of this demo. The mixing...well it's my first time mixing so it may be pretty bad. I tried to fit the voices in with the mood bg music. (does that make sense? x-x) The song is Sakura Kiss, Strings version.

Constructive criticism is greatly appericiated, as well as comments! <33

Not bad no puffs is always a good start. Many of your voices were kind of samey at the beginning though and you can definetly tell you feel safe with the cute innocent little girl voice. I reccomend trying a few more mature voices and working with the emotions. Sell your voice to the people and the music didn't overpower your voice much although one of your voices about 30 seconds in was a bit screechy. Well done yay keep working at it.

Thanks for the critique. <3 Audacity usually lets me delete the puffs. ^^ I doubt I could try a mature voice...my voice doesn't go that low. It's natural for me to go high. <33 I'll try the emotions, I can work on that. =D The screechy-ness was probably me trying to amplify my voice. Thanks again! =)

Good start~ Here are just a few things I'd suggest:

-Work on enunciation - your voice sounded a bit stuffy in a lot of it, almost as if you had a cold, and occasionally you slurred your words together.
-As subtle_s said, try experimenting with some different voice types - you do the "cute lil' girl" voice quite well, so if you tried concentrating that into less time and then add some of your more diverse voices into a shorter, 1 minute demo I think that would help a lot.
-You might want to vary the background music a bit. It can make the mixing tough at first but if you do that then it sounds more like your voice clips were ripped directly from productions you were in.

But that's just nitpicky stuff and this was overall really good for a first demo.

I liked the random singing of "Sakura kiss!" in there, hehe.

I am listed comments as I'm listening... When you said "Hi my name is Doremi etc..." it lacked emotion, it's an introduction and you were telling it like a narrator instead of from the character's POV. Your TRC Sakura needed to be a little lighter in tone, and again, it was more like a narration than the chracter's speech. Your Mimi "What's going on!..etc" needed more emotion. And after all that emotion-lacking chracterism, when I heard your one piece narrator I was like- this girl is good at narration, WHERE DID IT GO?

I think you could do little girls and boys voices very well...tads of emotion would patch it up, the mixing was good- no puffs clicks etc. (Unlike your MP3 player days xD) You really need to work on voice changes for different characters though.

Overall, done well for your first reel!

I'm going to agree with most of the people, but I'm going to encourage you, because you need to get both sides of things. The reason you were casted in various VA things was because you were doing something right. Maybe you should'nt take lines from things were you sound like the other characters. Maybe you haven't done that many productions, then in that case, you should try to write your own lines, with ranges from as many different styles as possible. Eh, I'm no pro yet either, but I've been working on it for a bit now, and it's coming together. I've taken off my demo reel, until I get a solid number of voices on it, but I have a bunch of characters on it anyway. There's some range there, even if I have to get better.
IN ANY CASE, you should keep working at it. I know you will improve, because we're always improving. Good luck with it all!
Well, I figured, since I was new, people would like to know what kind of voice I do...

    Thank's everyone!
