This is an independent film that was released in 2004. I was referred to it by my friend Joe, who seems to have well enough taste in films. Well, it turns out, it was a really, really great movie, and I'd reccomend you head to your local video store and check it out, if you haven't seen it yet.

    Spoilers follow:

A very thought provoking and just all-around smart movie, Primer centers on two men, Abe and Aaron, who are down-on-their-luck engineers looking to invent something to make them money on the side from their regular jobs. What was supposed to be a high-temperature superconducter, however, more than excelled their inventiveness... as the two men accidentally create a time machine.

The film focuses on their travels through time over a few days, and its all set in relatively sound physics (i.e., the only scientifically possible type of time travel is travelling into the past and emerging at the same moment you started the time machine). It's just a very, very smart film and I think a lot of you could enjoy it.

Because I'll be pulverizing you sometime over the weekend.

And the cleaning lady... cleans up... dust. She dusts. And she has weekends off, so... Monday. Right?

Tought it was gonna be tot, but I acquired it to watch anyhow. I mean - what was I gonna do, play more Quake?

Actually, the answer to that would be yes. Anyway, it was a neat movie. It's pretty dependent on figuring out how the time travel mechanics work, but unless your head is made of chowder it's easy to wrap your soggy noodle around. Paradoxes abound, except the last one made me kinda angry.

If I had a time box, I'd sit in it for an hour, then when I got out I'd wait about fifteen minutes and unplug it, cause I want to cause a paradox. All the old school kiddies know that's what I'm aaaall about. Represent.

Pretty neat movie on the whole. The only bad thing about it was that it cut into my Quake time. On a scale of I liked it to I didn't like it, I'll give it an I like it.

Sup invade your planet blah blah wreck your shit blah blah coconuts and bananas blah blah evil
