From episode 10. Eh? I'm actually finishing stuff again? x.x Yes! And while I work on my other projects, I wanted to take a short break for something small and easy. This is the fastest I've gotten something done... mixing took a few hours, and the whole thing was maybe 3-4 days from start to finish.

Since Roots has been licensed, I thought this might be my last chance to fandub something from it, and chose my favorite scene of the series so far.

Shino, in the absence of Ovan, is trying to keep herself strong, while Haseo wonders if talking to her will help.

My review~ ahhh, it's my feature clip debut on the VAA XD

Sukisho - Like I said before, I do think you went a liiittle too deep for Haseo here, moreso than you usually do~ but it's excusable because it's been a while since you've played him. You did a really nice job, though <3

Me - Ehhh, I like doing Shino 'cause her tone comes naturally to me, as does the pitch, mostly - I just make her sound too young. :\ But um... I guess it's okay? Can't really review myself. ^_^;

Again, not sure why the video is so big x_X; When I tried to compress it, the audio synching went off somehow, grr. I tried changing my settings and everything, but nothing worked. It retained the actual video and audio quality, but the synching... ._.;

Mixing was no problem at all; I really just used everything from the original clip.

Yay it's out.

Me: Now that I hear it again, I too think maybe that went a bit too low for him in a few places but then again I think it sorta changes slightly each time I play him. Have ta work on that more.

Windy: I liked the voice you gave her. Can't really say too much since she didn't really say alot but you did a good job with her.

Mixing was great! Though I think shino's volume might have been just a drop low but other then that it came out great. Overall that was fun clip, I like playing Haseo so thanks for having me in it ^_^

Ahh, I tried to match my volume with the original Shino's, but it could've been too low because I was talking so softly and my quality isn't as crystal-clear as I'd like XD; *nod*

Ahh, I'm not sure how you can be used to my voice, though, when this is my first time playing Shino. ^.^ But thanks. :3

This is a very well done clip, hardly anything really brings itself to attention that it’s a fandub. Just small things like the volume of the music slightly overpowering the dialogue in a few spots, and a small pop from what I assume is a transition from the original audio track to Sukisho’s line. But that’s all very, very minor, I’m just grasping for straws here. For being a quick dub it all sounds very nice.
I haven’t seen .hack//roots but from what I can gather from this clip it seems you two were faithful to the characters. The delivery of the lines were good, nothing that sticks out as awkward or clumsy. And the script was nicely done, the lines all sync up even during the close ups.

I don't know what else I can say. Again, this is a very beautiful scene and you definitely did it justice.

Nice job Windy!
This was a very touching dub. I think the music was a bit loud in some places but I think the acting really did a great deed of justice!
Both you and Sukisho did a very expressional job with voicing Shino and Haseno.^^The mixing was great.Keep up the great work!
