Makes me glad that I am getting a PS3! Does anyone know when it might be coming out? It would be awesome to have it as one of the launch titles (though that is really unlikely... sadly enough...)

Edit: Wait... i just noticed. Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus VIII... so there will be two? Haha, already creating direct sequals to games that arent out yet XD;;; man... they love making sequals sine Square and Enix joined!

Three games, actually. They also mentioned one for "next-gen" mobile phones: Final Fantasy XIII Agito.

Not sure we'll ever see that in the US.

So far, the trailer looks hot and I'm glad we have a proper female main character who kicks ass.

Can't wait to see more of this title.

However the bad news is, the PS3 will cost $600, and if you get a $500 bundle, you lose wireless support and the card reader for Memory Stick, Compact Flash and SD, and 40 GBS of storage space in the HD.

Better start saving up.

Urrrgh, more futuristic shit? Booring. I do like the chick, however, which is rare because main female characters are normally trashy looking. *sigh* I'm actually more excited about 13 than 12 (which looks soooo dull).

I'm not so keen on the SF stuff either it is the FFX team though so hopefully they'll put a fantasy take on it? The cut scene trailer is animated by the Advent Children team and they like their greys lets hope the game has a bit more fantasy I did see a shot of a girl runing through forest so hear's hoping.
The versus one is more of an action game and is by the Kingdom Hearts team so I imagine it will be more action.
