    thanks for the wonderful tutorial
i am using audacity alright but the fact that my singing line always seems to "shrink" a bit after i recorded it really bugs me.
it never goes in time with the accompaniment.. i tried time-shifting and adding silences to synchronize them but i am just wondering whether there is a much easier and more straight-forward way of doing it?

    thanks

Having problems trying to get the LAME MP3 working. It won't allow it for some reasons. Plus, I can't unzip it.
Can I have some help please?

What do you mean that you "can't unzip it"? Does it say that it is corrupt? If so, try downloading again.

No it's not corrupted and does download easily. It's just when I open it, I don't see the supposed unziped enc, only the journal part, nothing else. And I not so sure of how to save it to Audacity since it keeps saying after I go in preferences and did the next step. The followimg pop-up tells me it is seperate and I am now confused.

Hope this does make sense. Sorry, if it doesn't.

I would try downloading it again. Maybe you got a bad link. You do not "save it to Audacity." You put it somewhere you can find it later, and then when you export an MP3 in Audacity, it will ask for the LAME encoder.

    What OS are you using?
