FF7 would probably be better on the emulator because not only are the graphics the same on the PC version no matter how good your PC is, the AVI files are re-encoded to look worse than the PS...

I believe all of this is answered in the credits of the film, you just have to be able to decode the deep meaning behind the credits... It makes me incredibly sad that you don't get it. It's too deep...

Finally watched this... I had the divx, but I was waiting until my full, uncompressed rip with 5.1ch audio finished.

Ocean just dubbed them, they didn't own the show. FUNimation still owned it and edited it (which was at least excusable... kinda... due to it airing on network tv). Later in the series, they flash...

DBZ never appeared edited on Adult Swim either, though.. I was a hardcore DB/Z fan and I remember some fan sites (mine included) got interviews with people working in FUNimation and found out that...

Don't blame Cartoon Network, blame Viz. I remember CN responding to stuff like this before when DBZ was out... we were told all editing was done under FUNimation's guidelines and not CN's.

Not terrible... coulda been much worse. I guess anything's better after that crap db/z dub, which turned me off to dubs forever.

The whole scratchy ash/gohan thing is annoying, but it's not so bad...

I get that sense too... Her voice fits Naruto though, which is a good thing... but she still sounds a bit akward in the role. But that tends to happen a lot in anime dubs and they improve later on.

And keep in mind that Anime is a lot like Hollywood cinema... there are tons of genres. There's horror, scifi, kiddy stuff, action, porn even... So don't think it's all the same and just pick one at...
