In the "Pet Peeves" thread I commented on the lack of good parts for females, particularly in "original" productions. Even in the "fan dub" productions, the females tend often to be arm bling, no depth, no nothing. The few projects I've audded for from this board and gotten provided interesting female parts and they were enjoyable to do. And, I'd like to think that actors who enjoy their parts contribute greatly to the success of a production.

There's a discussion about whining about not getting cast (in the Peeves thread). I don't understand why people whine when they don't get cast. If you are an actor IRL, you're going to aud for a lot of things. You may get them; odds are you won't get but one or two of them. There are a LOT of actors out there and there's always going to be somebody better or worse than you.
