Just curious...are you using a program called Ren'py for this? Because it sounds like you're making a mini Visual Novel, or a kinetic novel more specifically since there aren't branch points or menus. If you aren't, you may want to consider it; it makes the programming of that kind of footage a lot easier. =D

Also, even if you aren't in a rush, I highly advise making a deadline no later than the month of January; projects with months to spare for deadlines often get buried in the pile of more urgent auditions and often you get less auditions than you would have with a tighter deadline, ironically XP
