That's true...though taking risks can get you even farther, even if there's the danger of you getting hurt. To accomplish great things, I've learned you need to hold onto the thought that, no matter what hits you over the head, you'll always get up again, yeah? Even if you're so disappointed that you can't feel the resolve anymore, if you can even just remember why you're trying, you just...hold on, if you have to...by your teeth!! >8O

Being a scientist, I'm apt to look for loopholes in any system I'm inclined to examine. Also, the definition of trust -- is it at all theoretically possible for someone to be so utterly dedicated to a Perjurer that their trust is nigh unbreakable, even when attempted to do so? Or does it not matter if the person would theoretically still be willing to trust them? Say, if intended victim finds out Perjurer's identity, and crazy flabbergast the victim is WILLING to sacrifice their life and is *expecting* to have their trust broken? Perhaps if the Perjurer didn't know this. Would that mean that breaking their trust is impossible from then on? Because the victim is *trusting* the Perjurer to break their trust? XDXDXD (I'm a dork, I know)

For the 'obligatory backstory insert here lololol' sequence in a lot of anime -- do any of them go to school? It could be a classroom segment. Or, in Durarara, they have some dialogues over an online chat (it's still VA'd in the show), so it's just face icons and chat windows (could be profile pics, but it might be fun to see what the chars might use as online avatars?); less work for BG! 8P

The one I'm doing 'less seriously' is an AU fic of a world I made up for RPing once, and I haven't posted it publicly yet; it could quite possibly be read without having watched the show, but there are many references embedded in there that you'd still miss XD;;

Oh, and a recent typo I'm making several times: "Fubre" -> "Furbe". Like it reads. 8P Another random thought: can't Perjurers technically be able to kill someone over the phone or the internet? Or even just by reading a note? Come to think of it, can they control whether the breaking of trust kills the person or not? Could they do it "by accident"? As morbidly funny as that sounds XD;;;;

Well, the ones I was talking about were for an anime called Princess Tutu (someone is doing a fandub of it here), which I'm guessing that you haven't seen, but I think with what I hear you're interested in, e.g. things with a dark edge to them, your taste for fantasy-esque settings(AMV to convince you; it has some spoilers but since they are without context it probably will just make you wonder what they mean), you would particularly like it.

Anywho, the one that I'm holding off on for now is the one called "Chapter of the Bird" on my FFnet profile; it's post-series so it wouldn't make much sense unless you've seen the show ^^;;

Yep, definitely gotten better. =D But, muscles not properly exercised in a long time often need a lot of stretching to get working again, right? Or something like that. But see, during the past semester all I could do was VAing and editing (other people's stuff). My goal STILL is to get back to previous inspirations; that's why I'm trying hard at present to write out a fanfiction I specifically thought I'd write for fun and not try to take too seriously; and even that's a struggle. =( I want to finish that fanfiction so I know that I've got my groove back and then finish the more-serious fanfiction I got stumped on...and then perhaps on that original project that I want to publish someday. =3
