I'm a big Square fan so most of the FF games and the KH series and various others - Capcom is also a big yes (DMC, Ace Attorney etc.)... Can't think of any others at the moment XD;

Hmm, let's see... well, there was a group song cover I participated in once, although it didn't require auditioning xD That's here. Aside from that, not much else I'm afraid.
Currently I'm producing a radioplay after waking up Christmas Eve morning last year and thinking 'Hm... this manga chapter would make a good radioplay' (no joke). I'm in the process of mixing and so-on at the moment so it should be out within a few months maybe, I'm hoping. There I am self-casting myself as the narrator. Ahahaha. XD;

But a lot of people just when they're bored or have time on their hands fandub small clips by themselves or do little audio snippets of something-or-other. You should try it I keep on meaning to but it keeps on slipping my mind, haha

It seems to be that more often nowadays a visual project will be favoured over an audio one (as opposed to when audiodramas and stuff were played all over radio stations and whatnot), but after listening to some really amazing ones here on the VAA (try listening to 'No Smoking' or 'Stained' for some examples of ones I really like) maybe you'll become more interested in them?
I find it very good for my imagination, haha xD Radioplays do tend to help quite a bit though, because in productions where people can't see what you're doing, you have to manage to convey your actions in your voice

A 'black hole' production is a project that falls through or never gets completed. Sometimes, it's after the project has been cast and the script is never sent out to the castmembers and the producer isn't heard from about it, or after castmembers send in lines and then the final product never comes out... and the producer isn't heard from about it. D;

Amen to that one. Unless you go on made-for-Kiwi boards, like CNZ or Sour NZ, that is.

Hmm, let's see... When starting out they say you gotta whore your talents out. And in that way even if you don't get a part, you're still improving by using your voice. I haven't auditioned myself but it's a really great idea, I think

Whenever I have a lot of time on my hands I go around auditioning for a lot of stuff - In all my time here, I've only ever been cast in 'black-hole' projects unfortunately (except for one small one ages ago), so I'm really wanting to get my voice out there. Producing stuff can remedy that (self-casting etc.), but it's never quite the same.

I'd also suggest starting out trying for mostly radioplays to begin with just to get a feel of VAing without having to match lipflaps in fandubs (which could hinder the ability to VA with correct emotion and/or pace, you know?)
