I dunno should I go by auditions or just go with the scripts you sent to me recently. One on hand according to you I am pretty much guaranteed to be able to do something at all and even if I audition I would just have to find those scripts that were already sent. But on the other hand if I go over as many extras as possible there is a very good chance I would end up recording plenty of material that will never actually be used. I am just wondering if auditioning would be a slightly more practical solution down the line if you know what I mean.

Episode 1, "Is Lupin Burning?" is finished! ^^

At 8:03 now. I can't remember if Lupin's original dialogue and the throwing the knife at the curtain was simultaneous--I can't remember if it was, but I erased it.

-Initially, I wanted to sync it exactly with the original Japanese, but our wordy dialogue makes that impossible. I have Lupin's narration overlapping with Jigen's and Fujiko's gunshots, the second explosion, and other things.

-I haven't adjusted the levels of the actors, but I did lower the volume of some of the music so the dialogue can be heard.

Because of the maximum length for YT videos, 10 minutes into the film I'll send you the fandub, which will be complete except for the missing music and sound effects.

I received it. Will add the cop's line in. For the time compressed lines, do you want me to leave them compressed (that has the mild distortion) or should I clip some of the jokes out? Until I hear back from you'll, I'll keep moving forward. Thanks!

Okay, I'm 3 minutes and 52 seconds into it now.

Unfortunately, despite your edits, some of Lupin's lines are still way too long to fit in the frame, especially in the phone scene where Zenigata's mouth is on screen and Lupin's is not. I had to compress at least two of Lupin's lines to fit before Zenigata came back on screen. It's not really distorted, but there's some distortion. This is in the whole shogi banter.

I compressed some of Zenigata's lines to fit the flaps.

So far the sound effects aren't a problem, but the music during Lupin's narration alternates with the original narrator, so there's big breaks in the music.

Finally, I might be missing the officer's first line, when Zenigata orders him to trace the call. I have when he says "got it", the second time, but not the first.

That's all I have for now. I'll be in touch as I get farther into editing.

Lines received. Will start cutting them ASAP.
