Tamtu's VAA blog.

Well, here we go again! A few weeks shy into 2010 and the staff, believe it or not, is putting things together to build a new VAA based around your feedback.

I'm sure you've already noticed the slight changes in the forum-software; we've been steadily upgrading the forum system to that of the newer versions of VBulletin as they are released. One more upgrade is planned after the bugs have been reported as gone from the most recent release, so please don't panic if you encounter the "database error" page yet again. We have constant backups of the forums, so don't be afraid of losing any of your threads: we've got it covered.

Part of our team has been braiding and knitting and putting your feedback into a series of ideas which we'll be presenting to you as we finish developing them. The other half is dilligently bugfixing and making sure the forums are adapting and adjusting to the new server environment properly. There will be some forum-rearrangements in the near future and we'll let you know what these have been in an upcoming "version update" overview. We'll list the changes and additions in these overviews, but we don't want to launch them until we have everything worked out. Nothing would be worse than launching someting, only to have to suspend it again to rework it! We want to try and get things right from the start this time around.


Am I still vague? Maybe.

Don't be disheartened when things don't seem to be changing much at first.
