(Also known as Shio Yamaguchi)

Shio is the textbook definition of "quiet type," and he should know, as he's committed every textbook he's ever read to memory. There are many theories as to why he remains so isolated despite his genius. The most prominent is that his parents called him "Shi" as a child so often that he took it as them telling him to be quiet and just followed suit. However, the discovery of a mysterious crystal will force him into working as a team, the only science he hasn't yet mastered.

Shio is naturally very quiet, reserved, and slow to trust. Book smarts serve him well academically, often being the top of his class, but it can't teach him teamwork. As Glitter Guardian Bubble Blue, he focuses on defense, but is more than a capable fighter with his hula hoop. He is mastering the yin and yang of serenity and force via his control of the element of Water/Ice.

Chastity DuBois is the nurturing sensei-sama of Justin's school. She likes to have a close relationship with all of her students, none moreso than Justin himself. She isn't sure whether or not she means to flirt with Justin, but he's too aloof to notice anyway. Nobody can quite say what redeemable qualities she sees in him. Not even she can, honestly. Hopefully her interest in Justin's success doesn't involve her in a zany string of shenanigans induced by the rivalry between the Glitterverse and a force of unspeakable evil.

...well, who are we kidding.
