1999. With credits like Babe the Pig, Oblina from AAAH! Real Monsters, Chuckie Finster, and the little scientist Dexter, Christine Cavanaugh was well on her way to becoming one of the greatest voice actresses in history. And then, for mysterious reasons, she was gone, leaving behind more questions than answers and a giant hole in voice that can't be filled.
Over ten years and hundreds of crap productions (and dozens of good ones) later, it's time to say what everyone is thinking: COME OUT OF HIDING AND GET YOUR ASS BEHIND THE MICROPHONE AGAIN!!! I don't know that your "personal problems" are. I don't care. And neither does anyone else. The only thing that matters is that without you, fans of animation are missing out on a legacy that should have been, and it's your fault for gypping us out of your talent. It's selfish, it's unfair, and most importantly, it's unprofessional.
If I lived in California (and I don't and I don't plan to), I would find your address, knock on your door, wait for you to answer, then drag you by force out of your house to the closest recording studio and say "Start voice acting!" Then I would bask in the sheer warmth of good voice acting, saying "Thank you! That's all I wanted to hear!"
It's time. Come back. Now.
