I haven't been around much the past month, October is a very hard month for me for a variety of reasons. None of which I will go into here. The point of this blog entry is to update my cast and those who auditioned for recent projects.

The audition thread was closed a while ago. I am not the creators/writer , so before any casting choice is made, it has to go through them to make. I have to wait. I have heard back from one half of that team. I was preparing to finalize a choice based off of that but this along with my other projects got thrown to the back burner due to the death of a close friend followed by surgery on my back. Now that things are settling and I am home, I am planning to contact those who are chosen through email and provide them with the script for the third episode so we can get back to work. I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused some of you.

The Audio Production is still being scripted. As I am converting the prose to script format I am also rewriting/revising the content to make it more up to date with my current writing style. The ebook will be released December for $3 and the audio production script should be going out around that time. When that is done I will be contacting those who auditioned and didn't get a part for extras.

Act 5 of the anime. The surgery set me back a lot >_>. The animation for this episode is moving along nicely and it has a lot of improvements over the previous ones. Mainly the amount of time and effort I'm putting in. So the quality between this one and Act 4 will be obvious. My goal is to release this in December some how.

Shattered Heaven: Constellation of Fears

I have most of the 3rd episode mixed. What's holding me back from a quick release is LINES. I am missing some people's lines and I am patiently waiting to get them. Most have already spoken with me so we're squared off. But the ones who keep pushing it back and aren't really doing much, I'm going to be cracking down, potentially recasting if I have too.

I will be sending "Warning/Reminder" emails to those by the end of this week. I want this episode out and it's not fair to everyone else who is waiting.

We've gotten some simple professional freelance work as of late and I spent a good majority of NYCC networking with other Indie creators, namely comic writers/artists and other novelists, as well as comic retailers. I hope to hear some things back, but with things like this you never know. Just expanding your word of mouth is a lot. We have a few animated web series that will be a part of this collaboration of various producers and artists as well as preparing our own professional projects for distribution, ie: Movies, novels to be published and more.

Personal moment. I've hard a really really rough month. A friend took her own life and then back surgery and some other things. I'd like to thank my friends who have been supporting me even when I didn't go to them about certain issues. It was very hard for me to focus on all my professional projects and everything else. If it wasn't for them it'd probably take a lot longer for me to get back into the feel of things.
