~Introduction~

Hello friends! My name is Damaru and I'm finally going to have a blog about my fandub projects. 83 My biggest and most beloved project right now is Qin's Moon, for which I will give most of my attention and energy here. That will be a separate post on its own~. I'll also be posting random clips on spontaneous whim, but they will appear here. Oh and feel free to ask me anything!

Here is a list of my credentials released fandub clips to date (that weren't deleted by my computer crash/Youtube T^T). These are singular clips with no further plans of expansion (as of now), and do not include my 10-second-I'm-just-wasting-time boredom clips. This is just to document my progress with mixing and stuffs, and to let you know what I've done so far. The list is in diary format, so current stuff goes up top, and I'll update it as I go along.

Clip Project History

10-22-2011: Code Geass - Lelouch & C.C.
Details: Ahh, a recent clip. Being in a college environment limits productivity in voice acting and projects; the gaps of releases are becoming more frequent. ): Regardless, this was another random clip I felt like doing. Even in short clips, I find it satisfying in the end to pay attention to small details with sound effects. Thanks to JCx for stepping up to voice Lelouch. :3

6-20-2011: Shaman King - The Shaman Fight
Details: I'm not sure why I wanted to do a Shaman King clip... I guess I just felt like it at the time LOL! I think my mixing was pretty bland here, but this clip wasn't anything fancy to begin with. Many thanks to KingChronn, SakasaJinei, and Hyperknees for their dead-on interpretations of the characters! <3

3-27-2011: Princess Mononoke - Beef Jerky
Details: I was agonizing over the lack of appropriate sound effects, so over Skype, TehExorcist recorded some chopsticks in a cup and duct tape sounds... which worked quite well. o.O So I thank him for doing that, and also being a wonderful Ashitaka and mule-thing. :3 I should do more blooper thingies; they seem well received haha!

3-06-2011: Air Gear OVA - Migrating Bird's Fall
Details: This was also pretty fun to do (note: Shudo's scream is awesome!). I was actually going to do a project on dubbing clips from the Air Gear OVAs, but since my computer crash, I kind of got discouraged. Perhaps I'll pick this up in the future, because it's a really awesome OVA!

1-29-2011: Fruits Basket - Kisa's Prince
Details: Wow really, a year jump? xD There are just too many videos I lost that could've filled this gap. ): Anyway, I had so much fun with this, from working with two talented voice actresses to mixing! I think I really started to pay attention to subtleties in mixing at this point (improvement! Hooray! 8D). I don't usually do sweet scenes like this, but I feel I should do this more often because it left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. :3

3-26-2010: Final Fantasy XIII - Joy Ride
Details: I finally got Sony Vegas at this point! I'm actually quite proud of how this turned out. I had a fun experience mixing, and I thank Actorman for lending me his voice for this clip~.

1-18-2010: Fushigi Yuugi - Tamahome vs. Hotohori
Details: Download link only (clip taken off Youtube; may upload to Vimeo later). This was one of my earliest (but not my first) fandubs, and one of the largest casts I've gathered, and they were great! One downside of the process: I mixed with WMM. Fml. xD
