Hokaaay...this I fully admit was on an intense whim when it suddenly occurred to me that this show (at least from what I see so far) rocks or at least more people should know about it; there's no way anyone's done a fandub of this because it's not even RELEASED yet; I found a translation of it that was enough for me to base my own scripting on (thanks, Caphi1!); and this should be pretty simple and quick to mix. So here we goooo~~~! 8D
So what exactly IS Star Driver, anyway? Well, here's the ANN summary of it:
On a cross-shaped island in the South, mysterious and gigantic humanoid robots known as the "Psybodies" are discovered sealed in the underground ruins, lost for untold ages. A group known as the "Glittering Crux Brigade" attempts to remove the seal by abducting a girl named Wako Agemaki, who they called the "shrine maiden" and is the key to activating the robot. A boy named Takuto Tsunashi washes up on the shore of the island, and in an extraordinary sequence of events, rescues Wako with his own Psybody named Taubern. Thus begins a struggle to unlock the secrets of the advanced technology and prevent a great disaster.
This anime, done by the Studio Bones, with a script writer that worked on Revolutionary Girl Utena (that explains a lot eh?) is coming out on October 3, and I want to fandub the heck out of this trailer in time for the first episode premiere! And spread the faaaaabulous sparkly mecha love~
