Future Audio Projects
Even though The Elysium Project is still the primary focus of my audio projects, I have a couple other projects in mind once the Dr. Who drabbles are finished. Mainly for something to mix that I don't have to write simultaneously.
When Brian and Gregory receive an invitation to stay at a distant relative's strange mansion.... well, they should know better than to go. Trips to distant relatives' strange mansions rarely go well. And this mansion is even stranger than most. Uncle Max doesn't really know what century he's in. The butler burns socks. And the attic is home to the Game of Sunken Places.
The Game of Sunken Places looks like a board game. And most of the time, it acts like a board game. But from the moment Brian and Gregory start playing, they are caught up in an adventure that goes far beyond the board. Soon the boys are dealing with trolls with bad attitudes, warring kingdoms, and some very starchy britches. There's a surprise around every corner - and, for Brian and Gregory, only one way to win.
The Game of Sunken Places is one of my favorite books, and I am currently scripting a two part version of the book for a full cast audio adaption much like my first project, Coraline. This is a project with a fairly small cast I intend to simply scout, but I'm hoping to use a number of new people as well.
Again, I will likely start work on this after Dr. Who wraps up and the second episode of Elysium is done scripting and mostly mixed.

Darkness cannot be caged...
The Dark Griffin is a fantasy epic written by KJ Taylor, a friend of mine whom I've been following for almost five years now. She originally started by writing fanfiction, but has gone on to publish three novels since then, with the fourth arriving in Australia this summer. Since her books will not be available in the US until January of next year, she is holding a contest for fans to submit fiction, art, and more for the chance to win a copy of the new book.
My plan is produce a 2-4 minute trailer of the series thus far, utilizing a full cast and audio design, along with original music I have already written myself. Since this project is smaller, it will again be scouted, but I will be looking for a number of actors and very diverse voices.
