For the VAA NND Chorus I have an Idea. Since so far all the songs we've tried to do since Ryuuseigun have kinda died! Why don't you,me,nation,aku, and a few others fandub some songs nico nico style to get people more interested. Yup cause then we're all playing the same music. It just really sucks at my school cause there's 4 bands. The only way to be in the top band is if you a favorite of the head Band Director I'm in the second band and we're playing pretty easy stuff. Even if the rythems are hard the peice is usually slow so we won't have to worry too much about awkward fingerings. However the music level gap is so huge. They've got the top band playing (Clarinet wise) basically straight 16ths with a really fast tempo. While in the 2nd band we have 16th notes few and far between and they're only in the really slow songs so they're like 8th notes. It really sucks >.>
Oh the pains of being in marching band! At least it beats concert season ^^;
I know the feeling. I've had one where the Call time was 5am and we got to the competition around 10 and because of rain they delayed it and in the end we didn't get back to the school till like midnight. It was horrible because no one anticipated it being that long and the band had only paid for our lunch so there were some people who didn't have dinner.
Ah, hope it went well ^_^ We go tomorrow, call time 6:30am and we go till 10:30pm X_X It's gonna be a long day.
HOLY CRAP that's an awsome show. I wish we could play music like that however we have so many people marching on the feild that if the music is too hard half of the people would prolly die. we marched 160 this year. Our last performance of the show was last friday.
At school, right now were still doing our marching show (it's pretty awesome here's a midi) Concert season, just, regular stuff I guess XD. Personally I like trying to figure out songs by ear (god I love playing NND melodies by ear XD) sorry if I'm not good at giving information
