Yeah, exactly. lol
Oh. Two majors. That'll do it lol.
Lol, well, not necessarily. I only had that much work because I took on a second major with a year and a half left.
Oh god that sounds awful. x___x I guess I have that to look forward to for my senior year, huh?
Yuck! I hear that. I remember in one semester, I had... 6 courses, so 18 credits. I think I had 5 Final Papers, 3 Group Projects, 1 Presentation, and 4 Final Exams all due withing the span of four days. Needless to say, that was a very stressful time, running on nothing but 2 hours of sleep and Oreo cookies. I remember I then got to go and speak to the then current seniors of my high school, and when I told them how much work I had for the end of that semester, they honestly gasped. It was pretty funny. XD
Yeah, mostly school. This past weekend, I had to read the entire Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin, answer some questions on it, read two chapters from my Composition textbook and write a response on them, meet with a group for a project, research a dozen Greek mythological figures, prepare a presentation for it, and read chapters 20 - 38 in The Account of Cabeza de Vaca. Blaaaaah. I just get so mentally and emotionally drained from all this stuff that it saps away any motivation I have to record, you know? So yeah, I'm trying not to make any promises I can't keep.
My hiatus is pretty much to the same extent. I've really scaled down how much I'm auditioning or how many scouts I'm accepting, and the level of dedication needed for fandubs. If a fandub is short and sweet, I'm having a little bit better of luck getting it done right now. Life is just a little too hectic to take on giant roles at the moment. But yeah, if it's something I'm already cast in and dedicated to, then I will make the time to do it. lol So what's causing you to take a break? Just school work and the like?
Well good luck and don't get discouraged! And when I say I'm taking a voice acting hiatus, I pretty much just mean that I might not be auditioning or accepting scouts. But I'll have to finish up stuff that I've already been cast in, of course. What's the extent of your voice acting break?
lol, it's okay. You didn't know, so no worries. XD But yeah, the job stuff is rough. I'm pretty much just calling any place that I can find being like "Is there someone I can speak to about jobs?" Then I'm told there isn't but I can leave a voice mail, so I do that. XD Ah well. Something will have to stick sometime, right?
Oh, sorry, man. I didn't know. Geeze, Jordan; open mouth and insert foot. But it's good to hear you two are still friends. Anyway, yeah, I bet finding another job is pretty rough right now. Wish you lots of luck in getting a hold on one, though! Those contacts you mentioned will hopefully help.
