This is for VA newbs, like myself, I have a good year under my belt but im still newb. Anyway.
What and who was your biggest influence to want to be a Dub Actor?
Mine was a compilation of things. First it was just a natural thing I did, talking in different voices. Been doing it my whole life. This doesn't mean I'm a VA guru or anything. My biggest influence to want to do it professionaly was the VA's that did the Legacy of Kain Blood Omen and Soul Reaver series by Eidos. Those guys are great, my favorite is Simon Templeman (Kain). That guy has a very midevil accent in Kains voice and a very authoritive tone. Second is Christopher R. Sabat who does the voice of many of Dragon Balls characters. My particular favorite is Prince Vegeta, He did a superb job. My second and third male VA actors are Eric Vale and Sonny Strait, Eric because he has a unique voice, Trunks. Sonny because he can do a goofy voice like Krillens and turn to a gruff leather neck like Bardocks, very good work. For females I have to say Linda Young and Meredith McCoy whom are both very talented.
Well that's enough jabbering, take care.
