Yesterday I had the amazing fortune to meet former voice actor Kerry Joels, and he offered me several tips and a lot of encouragement. I'll be posting those tips here, as the earlier post about it was eaten by the internet and I don't have time now.

What's he been in? My search only turned up one credit for him, so maybe he's done more commercials or audio drama than TV series.

That's cool, I'm all about getting some good advice. I'd appreciate it.
I might seem like a priock when you all burn some of my stuff but I really do appreciate it. :)
I just behave like a rabid dog when I feel cornered.

Alright...take three at offering Kerry's tips to the world. The first one got eaten by the internet, and the second time the forum wouldn't acept it.
You guys, sadly, are going to get a severely shortened version of the two times I've tried already, as in, minus descriptions of the tips. For those you'll need to contact me.
And who is he? When he was seven he did the old Space Explorers tv show (www.thespaceexplorers.com) voice of Jimmy. He went on to perform as Bullwinkle on occasion when the origional voice talent couldn't come in, and did a lot of commercial work until he decided (as a young adult) to go to college and get a job with NASA. Now he's retired and thinking of going back into voice acting.
The tips he offered weren't that hard to understand.
-Pretty up your demo reel
-Practice until you're perfect
-Visit local radio stations to get your start on commercial work
-Have a variety of 'trick' voices and 'dialects'
-Love the products you push
